I love these so much. They're so pretty and I love that they're taller and thinner I can fit so many more in my cabinet and honestly since I got them I have reorganized my cabinets I've taken things out of packages and put them in these vessels along with labels and I have saved so much space it's so awesome

I have at least 50 different ball-style jars of all sizes in my cabinets or fridge at any time, not to mention fill them with deliciousness for gift giving, so I def have thoughts on this off-Ball brand. Generally speaking they are an affordable option that definitely do the trick. However in a box of 24 you may have a couple lids that don’t quit fit right or in a year’s time start to rust. For me, the price is worth it. Plus you can always buy a batch of the OG Ball lids separately if it comes down to it. And even those lids don’t last forever.

I received these jars 4 days ago. I was planning to make jam and canning them. My first impressions were that these jars are a good size and looked like some brand name canning jars, just taller. But as I unpacked them, I noticed one of the jars was missing a lid—obvious QC issue. But I thought 19 canning lids out of 20 isn’t that egregious and I wanted to get along on the project so I ran them through the dishwasher for an initial wash. I went to go sterilize the jars with some hot water and noticed one with an obvious curved crack near the bottom. I set that aside thinking maybe it tapped against the side of the pot without me noticing. Then I noticed several more that had similar shaped cracks, all near the bottom. So I went to the box where I put the jars I took out of the dishwasher. And EVERY SINGLE JAR HAD A CRACK along the bottom. THESE ARE NOT CANNING JARS. These will not handle any level of heat, and may break in your dishwasher. Unless you’re using them to just hold some pens or dry goods and won’t ever be washing them in warm/hot water, THESE ARE GARBAGE. I’ll be going to a regular store to buy Ball jars tomorrow. Needless to say, I’m returning them.

Slightly shorter than I expected but still very nice jars!!! Very pleased

I noticed in Reviews that some users had a problem with the fit of the rings. When I used the jars, I purposely used older rings that I had on hand. I did not have a problem with the fit. The jars I received worked as they should have for water bathing pickle relish. There are no guarantees for production tolerances but for me, these jars were a good buy because I could not find them locally. In addition, I wash and store the jar rings for future use. I have discovered that some of the rings that came with this set of jars are not uniform in threading. Some will not fit onto a regular small mouth pint or quart jar. Not a great loss if one does a lot of canning, those that don't fit can be discarded and still have a good set of jars. These 12-ounce jars are a perfect size for two.

The jars arrived with only one broken which was decent, all things considered. The glasswork is not super even on the bottom, you can see a sloping on the bottom layer, but I don't know how critical that is. The main issue for me was this: The bands and lids that are included fit the jars, BUT they are not standard sized bands, so you can't use them interchangeably with your other canning jars. In addition, the bands don't screw tight without stripping out (meaning you screw it as tight as it will go and it slips and then starts over). These would not be something I would use for canning. They could be used for storage, especially if you don't have regular canning jars to get the lids mixed up with.
