We needed a large display and this was perfect. The brightness can be dimmed which was another benefit. All good so far....However, the volume is far too loud for us. The description on the details say the alarm radio can be programmed from level 1. In reality, while you can program it to level 1 it actually defaults to level 5 when it comes on which is incredibly loud.The sound is really clear. A shame it's just too loud for us and I have returned the productUPDATE: The supplier will take a look at the problem and has provided a very satisfactory response.

I am wishing to return it but am defeated by the system. I cannot set up the "day" whereas everything else was ok.No returns slip but to me a complicated returns procedure.

when on lowest volume its a bit loud

Unable to lower the alarm volume to less than 4, at which level it wakes the whole neighbourhood.Have no idea what DST setting is for as it certainly does not adjust automatically to daylight saving time. Does not live up to expectations.

I went back to infra red cause it doesn't light the room up like non infra red clocks. Love the big numbers 2" great

Very easy to set up. Excellent display. Speaker on radio alarm not the greatest but answers all our needs.
