Paqui Chile Limon Chips, 6ct, 2 oz

These are very tasty and hot and not for everyone. We love these and are very rare to find.

If you are like me and love fresh tortilla chips at restaurants (like Chipotle), then this chip is for you. Unlike their competitors they are GMO free and all natural. They are light, crunchy and the chip itself is delicious. The seasoning is pure heat, which if you want more than heat, I would probably recommend one of their other flavors.These chips, as stated above, have a great ghost pepper taste and the heat is pure, fresh and clean, not powdery and hidden with other flavors forced in. The seasoning seems to be evenly spread on the chips so there is little chance (like it or not because of the heat) that you will find a chip without any seasoning on it. Which for me is the ultimate plus on a chip. Hate eating a chip with no seasoning and then the next one has too much. I don't know how they do it but ALL chip manufacturers should strive for this quality.The value, considering they are GMO free and all natural is amazingly low compared to others on the market.IF like me you took the hot chip challenge and found their chip somewhat stale and cardboardy, this is nowhere near that quality. It is a much higher quality chip and again the season evenly spread on the chips.I am spoiled now and will never eat another brand again.

These are very good chips, I used to buy them quite frequently. But now the price has just gone stupidly high for these chips which now they aren’t worth the cost.

I have eaten a lot if spicy food in my life, and because of that i have to give these chips a good review. Are they the hottest things I've ever eaten? no. Are they hot at all? yes. Like other reviewers here I wouldn't suggest that these chips be fed to normies because they are pretty hot. A lot of mass-market foods with ghost pepper as an ingredient aren't hot at all, and that may lead to someone underestimating these chips. like I said, they are not for normies.As far as the chips go... they are very thin. Thin tortilla chips are not my preference, but eh whatever. The trademark superhot bitterness is there in multitudes; these chips do not taste nice. They don't taste bad at all, but they have a flavor profile you need to get used to. My main grievance with these is the salt. OMG are they salty, even for tortilla chips. Like... I get it, you put salt on them to enhance flavor, etc. but holy cow the saliferousness of these chips is highly unpleasant. seriously, I needed to drink like a liter of water after eating one bag, and it wasn't due to the heat. an hour later and I am still dry.When you have superhots it is easy to over compensate with other things like spices or salt. I don't blame them for that, but they are really salty. And I love salted snacks. My critique would be incomplete without a message to the company: Please tone down the salt on these a bit. let the flavor of the chips and the ghost pepper do the work. You could also add a bit of sugar to counteract the bitterness of the pepper, but not so much as to make it taste sweet..., sort of like one does with a marinara sauce.anyway, tl;dr: the chips are good and they are very hot. but they are also super salty, which knocks them down a notch.8/10, will finish the box. would purchase again.

I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't continue eating it, though I'm likely not buying it again many times after this one.To me it tastes like it was just given spice to be spicy, which the amount of salt taste that overwhelms my taste buds opposed to any other kind of flavor makes that clear to me.I'll likely have to space out when I eat them, seeing as they're surprisingly upsetting my stomach a tiny bit, though I would assume that's from the salt and not the spice. Don't get me wrong, it is spicy, but I've had spicier from things that weren't made from ghost peppers.Putting the whole chip in my mouth is the only way for me to get any kind of flavor out of the chips, which- again is mostly just the bland salty taste.I don't recommend if you're planning on getting a chip that actually has some amount of flavor aside from the spice, but that's just my fault.Edit: After eating basically the whole bag, I can thoroughly say it's more or less just basic tortilla chips with spice added to them.

This particular chip is hard to find available in the stores near me. My son absolutely loves them and has moved to Japan. They don't offer them there so it's perfect to send to him there. Very addictive. A little expensive but worth it.

I love these chips so much and it’s so hard to find them nowadays unless you get lucky and have a store in your area that still supplies them, the only complaint I had was that one of the bags arrived slightly deflated due to an air leak somewhere so they were a little stale for that particular bag but other than that they tasted amazing as long as you like spicy snacks.

My grandson bought these due to the hype. Read description. There are only 7oz although the bag is huge. The bag arrived and was very flat. I thought it looked almost empty. Like I said 7oz is not a lot, but as long as you are aware of that they are not hiding that fact from you.To be honest he said they taste good, but for £12.50 I would want them served on a silver platter with a knife and fork and a good side dish lol.It was his money though and he did say he did not regret buying them and would buy them again.

It is actually spicy . Maybe not if you eat spicy food alot or are used to eating ghost pepper. They are indeed hot. I rarely eat spicy stuff so this hit me hot after eating a couple.

I saw this in an online video challenge and wanted to try it myself. It was crazy hot. I could only have a couple of chips at a time. Glad I tried it but it was painful.
