Beware! NOT what seller is advertising.
NOT what is advertised. They are pink peony poppy. They have finally bloomed and are NOT white. Not "Special" poppy.

Do Not Buy These Seeds
Do not buy. These aren’t even the right color for white Afghan poppies. None of them appear to be germinating. Someone is apparently just packaging store-bought poppy seeds and calling them white poppies.

Nothing Sprouted 3 big packets a waste of my time and money
I am very dissapointed with these poppy seeds, as all 3 big 1 oz packets never produced ONE single plant, while a competitor's small packet germinated and are about to bloom. It's not the money loss that is the point, it is all the time, and effort to prep the soil, keep things moist once, twice per day, and wait...notoriosly slow to germinate, yes, poppies can be tough, but to not even get a few plants pretty much blew my mind.I'm sure, or hope, this is just an anomoly, but, I cannot say I will order anything else by seed from these folks.BTW, the competitors tiny packet took 3 weeks to germinate. Now, they are big, healthy plants.

Seeds look very healthy. For anyone who thinks you can easily grow these, this is not the case. Do your homework. Duo test batch

For What Its Worth
Received seeds, placed (2) seeds per plant in seed tray inside greenhouse. Out of the intended (18) plants / seedings, 16 germinated, which was very good. They all grew to (1) inch, and then died off completely over a staggered time of two weeks, without rhyme or reason.I will retry, the same intended (18) plant goal, but, Spring is almost starting.

If you're looking for unwashed, it's not these
I mean I guess I can't say anything. It would be nice if it was specified whether or not the seeds are washed or not. Makes a big difference. Never coming here again fs. Had some of the same from a different seller for the same, WORLD of difference. Waste of money and not a single seed has shown any signs of germination in the rockwool, in the minigreenhouse. had several in a damp paper town inside a plastic back slightly open on a window sill. Nothing. after 3 days. ALWAYS, with proper seeds, it took no more than 48 hours to see the beginnings of sprouting. Looks like pieces of sticks stick or I have no clue were thrown in to make it look unrefined, but when you see entirely clear water, you know what you have. Go elsewhere. No good for cooking and I wouldn't be surprised if these weren't even actually papaver somniferum seeds.

So pretty!
I wanted some poppies for the seeds and for the pretty flowers. Poppies are easy to grow if you just plant them in the ground around your garden. I do have issues with slugs on them but that's not the seller's fault :) All of the ones I planted are growing though so great seeds, thank you.
