Great tonic
I am so enthusiastic about these - |I'm new to chickens, and my Dark Dorking in particular was so droopy-looking after a heavy moult: her comb was pale, and she clearly wasn't getting much goodness out of her food (I'm not going to post a poop pic here!) - and then these arrived! The turnaround was overnight - I did double-dose at first as it says you can, and the change was so impressive - bright red comb, bossy as all get-out and a much healthier-looking dropping. Laying again soon after. So yes, these are now the monthly routine to keep those weird little chicken-tums in good working order. Thanks, Verm-X!

Healthy hens
I have used Vermex for my hens for the last 18 years and it has consistently kept successive flocks healthy.I adhere to the proscribed dosage and it works. No need to withdraw eggs during the three days of treatment per month.

Great conditioner, wormer and all round good health product
My 25 chickens and 5 turkeys are definitely in much better condition since I started using Verm X. I grind up the pellets (I find they donβt eat the pellet form as easily as when it is powder) and put the required amount in their feed every month on the last 3 days of each month. It really helps keep worm loads at bay too. They appear to have fuller softer feathers, their eyes are bright and clear and they are all sleeker and more shiny.Highly recommended.

Not sure if they work or not. Hard to get chickens to eat them
I bought these for some little seramas and some silkie hens. I can't get my chickens to eat them. They look similar to the normal chickens pellets that I;ve scattered them on top of (as per pack instructions) and are just a little darker in shade, but the hens can tell the difference (having eyes which are more sensitive to color than ours) and they pick them out and throw them away. Tried mashing them up with water and thier fave meal worms and peas, but even then they wouldnt eat them. Also, the tiny scoop inside the package is not helpful since the pack does not state how any grams the scoop holds.I;ve given the item three stars because I like that the product was natural and hope they are managing to get enough in their systems to do them some good, but I probably wont be buying this product again. I guess you have to try it with your hens to see if they like them or not.

For Happy Hens
I feed this to my hens for 3 days every month as a top dressing on their normal pellets. Lasts for over 6 months for my 4 hens and they eat it with their usual enthusiasm.Whilst this is not a wormer as such, I use it between treating my hens with Flubenvet to help keep them healthy. I would recommend a faecal worm test kit to keep a close eye on the worm count and use Flubenvet wormer when necessary.

Happy hens
Love that it is an ethical product with natural ingredients. All my girls are ex bats and the new lot are in a sorry state. Don't want to upset their systems even more with strong chemicals. First feeding today and they all seemed fine and did not seem to notice the addition. If the girls are happy then I am happy.
