Great songs
Great songs that I had never heard before buying a guitar. I bought a Gretsch and heard he played one so I listened to the songs and they sounded great. Got the book and already have got Rebel Rouser and Peter Gunn down.

The Twang's the Thang
I fell in love with guitar listening to my older brother's Duane Eddy records, and still listen to them. I love the riffs in the lower register with the heavy reverb, and this book lets me attempt to play them for myself. If only I could find a rasty saxophone player to trade solos with...

Good Sheet Music to Learn Duane Eddy By
It is a book of sheet music of Duane Eddy. It is translated accurately and great quality print and paper. If you read music its great but if you don't there are tabs. If you want to sound like Duane Eddy you may want to order a Gretsch 6120 DE and a Fender Twin Reverb too.

Sheet Music
This book is actually a book of sheet music for Duane Eddy's songs. There are only a few pages about Duane Eddy's life. So if you want to play like the great Duane Eddy it rates a 5 but if you want his life story it offers very little.-- A Duane Eddy Fan Larry Betz

Twang
Great music book, I purchased my first guitar in 1958 with the dream of playing like Eddy. I may not play like Eddy, however I enjoy playing the tunes in this music book and yes it has tabs for those who use them.

Not all "The Best" of Duane, sadly
I was very annoyed to find 3 totally obscure tunes among the favourites. "Buckaroo"? Anyone who can locate a Duane Eddy recording of this song normally associated with Buck Owens deserves a medal! As for "Ballad of Paladin" and "Boss Guitar", are these "The Best"? Do me a favour! So, no "Detour", "Along Came Linda", "Earthquake", "Movin' and Grovvin'". In summary, 15 are worthy of inclusion; 3 are fillers. Nevertheless if you are an Eddy fan, go for it!

I did not realise it was a sheet music book but on reading the description I can put it down to experience.

At last!
I have enjoyed Duanne Eddy's music since the early 60's and this book will provide me with hours of pleasure, and work, on my guitar.
