KohlerK-7508-BL Purist Primary Swing Spout with Spray, Matte Black

My husband wanted a separate sprayer from the kitchen faucet.We bought this since I love the purist line from Kohler.The faucet installed easily with the sprayer and because I have the sprayer to the left and the air gap for the dishwasher to the right, I was able to place the handle in front rather than to the right to accomodate both.We have used this for a couple months now and it looks so stylish with our grey granite countertops and kohler stainless sink.Plan to get other similar faucets for the bathrooms.

Had this faucet for 2 years now and the sprayer hose has been a problem since the beginning. First it made a terrible whining noise and had no pressure. Now the noise is gone along with the pressure. There is no reason to use it when it barely sprays water. Very disappointed.

The faucet is heavy, solid stainless steel with brass fittings. The handle is solid and doesn't let you over-extend it so it doesn't leak from the handle. The actual faucet rotates 360degrees and has a long arc. Filling up large pots is a breeze.BUTThe hand sprayer feels quite light and chintzy with rubber push buttons. For $400.. it should be just as heavy duty as the faucet, so it definitely gets a star off for that, for $400 it really should be commercial grade with a residential look. It is better than most sprayers, but I have used better in cheaper faucet kits. But hand sprayers are easy to replace should the need arise.If your kitchen sink is a 3 or 4 hole sink, you can get stainless steel plugs for about $5. I received my Purist Primary Swing Spout faucet a couple of days ago, and although it isn't installed, I have to let you know that it's a beauty! Very heavy and sturdy construction, and the connections are well made. As stated in a previous review, the side spray is not made from the same material as the faucet; however, it is more substantial than I imagined. Hopefully I won't be too excited to follow up with a review of how the faucet works once it's connected. :)

like the primitive look, goes great with old farmhouse look would really like one that looked like old pump
