Razor Jr. Folding Kiddie Kick Scooter

- Heavy. They painted it to look like aluminum, and you'd expect Razor to be made of aluminum, but it's not and it's very heavy.- Very slow. It doesn't roll freely. The most it would go from one "kick" is maybe two feet, as if it was designed to be slow for safety (?).- Unstable. Scooters with twin front wheel are very stable, but this one is terrible.Bought this for my 3-year-old, she used it twice, then we got rid of it. It's not a fun scooter. Total disappointment. Check out "mini kick scooter" instead - an award winner.

This scooter is a great idea for younger kids but is so small it is really better suited for a 1.5 year old not a three year old. When we received ours the wheels rubbed on the upper part of the wheel well. The folding mechanism is so stiff I could not get it open. We sent it back ASAP, very disappointed.

I bought this scooter as a first for my 4-year old who is a little timid. It was great for him to learn, but he quickly outgrew it. We've only had it a few months and he's ready to scoot faster! There is definitely too much friction on the wheels, and it is hard to maneuver. I wouldn't recommend this for an adventurous 3-year old or anyone older. The third wheel is great for stability and learning though.

We have had this scooter for 1 year now.. We have a 2 and 3 year old and they both like to ride it.. The price is very reasonable and there is not mich to ask from a scooter like this.. My kids don't fall off at all.. It does not go too fast but I also don't want my 2 year old to be speeding on this.. For now it's perfect for usThe one missing star is because it is VERY hard to fold..

This is a great scooter for my 2.5 year old trying to keep up with his older brothers. It's good looking, sturdy, good height, and well made. While it's true the wheels don't roll terribly fast I expected that from reading the reviews and is totally approporiate for my son. I could see how kids that are ready for a 2 wheeled scooter would get frustrated with the speed but for those needing a 3 wheeled scooter for balance this is a good one. My two year old is scootering around as I type. He loves it!

The scooter that we received was defective and I've written Razor several times about it but they haven't been able to help us. The folding mechanism folds without much assistance. Thankfully my 2 1/2 yr old wasn't seriously injured when this happened while she was riding it. I was with her and can attest she wasn't yanking on the handles...be warned. I wouldn't buy or recommend any Razor products. The company is greatly disappointing.

This scooter is good for a very young child that is first learning to use a scooter (like 2 or early 3 year old). The wheels don't turn very well and so it's SLOOOOW. But that was good for my 3 year old when he was first learning to scoot and was a bit nervous. Now that he's been using it for about 6 months and confident scooting, it's much to slow for him! He gets frustrated that he can't go any faster. Also, take note of the scooter's size - it's really small and really only good for a 2 or small 3 year old.

Very good Scooter. My son used this scooter more than a year and still works fine. Only wheel alignment has gone but ok for rough usage. Very nice buy and recommend to everyone.
