Fantastic device
I bought this so I could watch TV in bed, on the ceiling. I mounted it to the inside front of a drawer in my bedside table, with enough room for ventilation. In a dark room, it projects a pretty good and bright picture. The colors are really rich, which I believe is due to the color gamut of LEDs being greater than a normal projector lamp.I even tried setting it up in my completely light-proof basement theater, and it projected a good-looking image onto my 120" projection screen. Not bad!My one complaint is that it seems to leak light and reflections, so there is a kind of halo around the outside of the picture. But for something so tiny and cool, I'm happy to live with it.

WAY too dim for practical use
This is a cute and very compact projector, but I think it is mostly a gimmick. It is so dim that the picture is unacceptable everywhere but in a VERY dark room within 4 feet of a highly reflective screen. If you know you'll always be in the dark, and within 4 feet of the screen, and you really need this degree of portability, then this is the projector for you. Otherwise, don't bother, or you'll just end up returning it like I did.

Disappointing
I was very exited to buy this thing to use for a class I'm teaching. But, I tried to use it in class today, and it was not bright enough for anyone to read what was on the screen. It's fine in very low light, but in low to medium light, it's useless. I'm debating whether or not to return it.On the plus side, it is very small and easy to transport. And, it's very cute. But just not practical.

Only Useable in a Dark Room
The PK10 is a great pocket projector, but don't even bother trying to use it in a room with any source of light. For best results, the room should be pitch black.

Pretty nice, with a few limitations
As you are told a number of times in the reviews, it isn't the brightest bulb in the box, but that's why it is so small and useful, if you keep that in mind for its uses. With the LED bulb for light, there is no warm up or cool down and you get a tiny box and no bulb replacement to worry about.I don't think the room needs to be completely dark at all, just not full sunlight. If you have shades on your windows and it is daylight, you will need to close them, but if you are using it at work for example, and can darken your area, you can easily view the picture and take notes at the same time; it can be that light in the room. That's it...not dark.I haven't tested the limit on the picture size, but it is now playing on my wall while I type this on my computer. Sure, it has limitations, but it works great within those limitations. I got a free battery with mine, so it was a great deal. The controls are very nice, all you would expect on a TV, not just a projector. The anamorphic picture is very nice, too. I have seen some TV's handle that very badly as to make it unusable, but I think it is nicely done on the Mitsubishi.Remember too, that with the short throw lens, you can have the projector very close to a wall or screen for a small picture, which may be a plus for your use. Don't buy it if you want a huge screen and want to watch in bright light; it won't work for that. If you keep the size in mind, and have a semi-darkened room, it's very cool. I'm glad I bought it.I think I will have the neighborhood over for movies on my garage door this summer. At one pound, or so, and with a mini DVD player or tuner, it beats hauling a TV outside for enjoying the nighttime.

Quite useful, despite its limited brightness
I originally bought this to use when meeting with clients. Of course, I have the same problem with brightness that every one else does, but I always try to use extremely contrasting colors and HUGE TEXT, so my slides are still surprisingly readable, so long as the ceiling lights closest to the screen are switched off.I did stumble upon an unusual use for this gadget: It's a handy way to check for proper VGA output on notebooks booting Ubuntu Linux (or whatever my alternate-OS-of-the-month happens to be) off a Live-CD before purchasing. Whipping out the PP + battery + VGA cable sure beats hunting for a spare LCD monitor + extra AC socket at the shops. The raised eyebrows, turned heads and curious questions don't hurt either.I also connect this to an old VGA TV tuner and a pair of cheap PC speakers for a poor man's bedroom home theater system, which is good enough for at least the nightly news with the lights out.
