Pretty good wall mount bracket, complete package. Easy install.
This was a very easy install from a package supplied with various hardware options to mount to different brands of TV. Just like the one-star review speaks to, that part of the mount that screws to the wall does have to be assembled from four pieces. The work involved in this involves removing four screws from the two end pieces (two from each end) and then screwing the top bottom pieces to the ends (to form a rectangle) using the same screws. It's difficult to 'screw up' and takes a couple of minutes, making quite a joke about that unbelievable complaint. You then snap on two end covers to make it a little more attractive. At that point, this part of the mount is ready to go on the wall and the pack contains a few screw options depending on what you are screwing it to, which for me was studs behind a drywall (which you'll ideally locate with a stud finder). The upright/vertical bars of the mount screw into the back of the TV. My TV manual mentions using the same screws already supplied and in the TV, but the mount was supplied with screws of various sizes for the various TV brands, duplicating what I already had, in addition to lock washers and extenders. It appears to be a well thought out package as far as hardware goes - you simply aren't meant to buy this and then have to run to home depot, but of course it could happen. After the rectangle is on the wall and the two vertical bars are on the TV, you (and likely another person) lift the TV and hook the vertical bars onto the top cross bar of the rectangle and carefully let go. At that point, the TV is hanging and you secure it (to prevent it from being lifted/unhooked) with two safety screws.Oh, well don't forget to plug it in before you mount it though. This is the type of mount where you may have some difficulty in attaching your cables/getting hands behind the TV when it's mounted. Ideally you have a place to rest the TV and cables that are long enough to come out to this point, but I had to rest the TV on two ladders to hook it up nearer to the mounting. Always best to be prepared and to have all the right tools, so if you have two mount height step ladders (or can borrow them beforehand) then you'll be well prepared. The tools I used. Tape measure, pencil, stud finder, screwdriver, socket set/wrench (for the bolts that go into the studs) and yes, those ladders. It's pretty easy and doesn't take long. You'll likely spend more time thinking about where to place it and any sockets or wire routing faceplates which is certainly worth thinking about in advance. It will easily fit something of dual socket height in between the crossbars in addition to one or two similar sized faceplates for routing wires, but if you're thinking of using one of those faceplates that combines a socket and a wire routing hole there's only about four inches of height between the crossbars so you'll want one of those that is more horizontal/wide than it is tall or you'll have to mount that outside the rectangle. This all looks to be quite secure. I have a slightly older/thicker flat panel so it's one of the heavier ones and despite being well within the limits of this mount I was naturally nervous. I need not have been. Do of course check which VESA standard mount your TV takes and the weight/limit before buying.

Money Well Spent!
Don't let the price of this unit fool you! It was money well spent! I looked and looked and looked through ALL the wall mounts on Amazon.com and finally decided on this puppy because it fit OUR need. We used on a 55" LG plasma flat panel TV above our fire-place. It's been up for two months now and it is holding up just fine! We love the tilt feature and the end caps give it a clean finished look. It was super easy to put the bracket on the wall once I CAREFULLY made my markings on the wall using MY own good quality level. Word to the wise! IF YOUR STUDS ARE OFF-CENTER FROM WERE YOU WANT THE TV TO SIT ON THE WALL MAKE SURE YOU BUY A MOUNT THAT IS A LOT WIDER THAN THIS UNIT! Fortunately for us we were able to slide the TV ALL the way to one side so it was center to the fireplace below. I hope that makes sense to you reading this. Also, beware the this is a low-profile wall bracket so you very little clearance to plug in your HDMI cables and things of that sort. Overall, we are VERY happy with this unit especially that it's priced just right! Good luck!

Solid Mount, Straight Forward Install, Lots of Fasteners Included
Bought this mount to install a 65" Samsung TV above my fireplace. I liked that this was a single piece unit, although some assembly is required (attaching the end pieces), the top and bottom brackets are solid all the way across. Installation was straight forward and I liked that they included many different types of fasteners and washers for both mounting to wall and mounting to the back of the TV. Getting the TV perfectly level can be tricky, despite the mount itself being perfectly level, the brackets attaching to the back of the TV may or may not be, so it might require more than one attempt to obtain perfection. Overall, it is holding up well and feels solid, giving me confidence when hanging a large expensive television 6 ft up on the wall. It also provides good clearance in the back for plugs and wires and, if the security screws are not tightened, good access to behind the TV to tilt forward if you need to plug/unplug cords and cables.

Solid, tilts well, but installation could be easier
This is a very solid wall mount. With the mounting arm clamps snugged up just a bit, a 40" LED TV (Samsung UN40F5500) tilts easily at any time and holds its position without any clamp adjustment required.Pros:* Well-packaged* Solid construction* Simple to assemble and mount the wall mount frame* Easy to hang the television once the respective pieces are properly attached to the wall and TV* Tilts easily once on the wall* Enough space between the rails to accommodate a properly-located, vertical-oriented power outletCons:* Insufficient instructions regarding how to achieve the desired TV mounting height and how to handle offset studs* 2" depth from wall only works if you have a TV that is flat where the brackets mount - otherwise, add 1/2" depth to account for included plastic spacers* The bracket mounting bolts come in two lengths, which were either too short or too long and bottomed out, so having a third screw length or some washers to help prevent the longer screws from bottoming out would help - I had to use four washers per screw to correctly attach the brackets* One of the bracket screws had a burr on the end that I had to file down before I could use itIn summary, given the sturdiness, easy tilt, and open rails, I'd buy this again.

Excellent mount
Easy to install and works great. An excellent price on this mount. Very sturdy, great selection of hardware to fit just about any tv, and very clear, detailed instructions. One caution, don't use the included bubble level n the bracket, mine was off. I figured this going in so I used a four foot level I had in the garage which confirmed the included level was off.

Great and Sturdy mount
This is exactly what I was looking for. The installation is straightforward and I feel it can hold even more than specs. In my case, I only need it for 90lb TV.
