Coastal Scents Elite 24 Piece Brush Set Black Case (BR-SET-016)

These are some amazing brushes. I got a single Coastal Scents brush in my ipsy bag over a year ago, and have used it regularly and loved it.I wanted to expand my brush collection so I started Googling. I found Morphe, and ordered the Morphe 18 piece vegan brush set. As I was waiting for my Morphe order, I ordered this CS brush set off Amazon. They both got delivered the same day.I haven't used them yet since I just got them delivered, but by just looking at and touching them, I can tell the CS is much better quality.I will wash all the brushes tonight and update my review in a few weeks.The CS brush case is so much better than the Morphe case too. As I'm touching the bristles of the brushes, I'm loving the softness of the CS brushes! I know Morphe buys their brushes via private label from Crown Brush brand brushes, so if you're interested in Morphe, you can get individual brushes for less expensive on Crowns website.Also, the CS brushes have numbers on the brush handles, which is really helpful with identifying which brush you're using, if you care about using the right technique with certain brushes.I've included pictures! The Coastal Scents brushes are on the bottom.Oh and I figured out a reason why the Coastal Scents brush set I purchased off here may have been discounted-the set had double of the angled blush face brush :/Oh well, it's not a deal breaker!

I really love these brushes. Great quality, durability, functionality...SUPER SOFT ( but the brushes are nice and firm where you need it, nice densely packed liner and shading/contour/stippling brushes) I would recommend getting this set and then adding on individual must have brushes from your favorite brand(s) for anything you feel you need or is lacking. You will never get as many great quality, usable, brushes as you get in this set for even 5 times the price you pay for this entire set. Everyone will probably find a couple of brushes they don't use, but it will vary by the individual...it's just personal preference, but you will spend a helluva lot buying as many single, quality, brushes as you wind up really liking and using in this set overall. I have had absolutely no shedding or durability issues and I use/wash them regularly. My only complaint is that the face brushes are so big, although I love a big soft fluffy face brush, I find these a bit difficult to control for things like contour and blush placement

When theses came in the mail i was so excited to finally have brushes after my dog decided to chew my others up.If you order these, make sure you wash them before you use them on your face, i didn't and my face broke out in a rash, (but i also have very sensitive skin) the brushes are good quality but i do think they could be just a little bit softer.

OMG am I in LOVE!!!! I am a make-up wh0re and I have all types of brushes from high end to low end (M.A.C, Sigma, Sephora, real technique, E.L.F, etc.) I would have to say these are my new favorites.They are super soft and pick up color amazingly. I have not had any trouble cleaning them or any shedding. For the price these are absolutely amazing.

Not what I expected. I was so excited to get this. Finally bought it and ... I'm disappointed. The bryshes are very, very pretty! Made nicely, very soft (maybe some of them too soft). The "crease" blending brush is not very good.... The big ones are too soft.... It is a very nice set, but the price is too high for what you get. I paid $60... now I see they're going for $43...I have previously purchased the cheaper set they have and I was more pleased with that one....

I been needing new brushes for a while but just been to lazy to get them. It wasn't till I went to see my eye doctor and was told to go through out my old brushes. My only thought was shit I have to start from scratch and that's not cheap. So I decided to to get on Amazon and take a look at what they had for brush sets. I looked at so many of them and read reviews. I finally was able to narrow it down to 2 sets to choose from. But the all the reviews on Amazon weren't the biggest help. So I hoped on YouTube and watched a few reviews that that compared the brushes. Of course I want to get the most out of my money.In the end I choose the Coastal Scents Elite brush set over the Coastal Scents 22 brush set. It just arrived this morning and so far I am very pleased with my purchase. The brushes are indeed very soft and the quality is amazing. I can't wait to use them.

These are not good at all. The eye brushes are particularly bad for packing and blending, they are too soft to hold any powder eyeshadow. Synthetic brushes are always hit or miss, but Coastal Scents/Crown Brush usually do a decent job. These were way worse than I expected. The face brushes are mostly a miss, but not as bad for powder products. The only reason I kind of like the face brushes is that they pick up so little product its hard to overdo your face with them.But typically with crappy brushes, the eye brushes are the ones you would assume would work well; in this case they were really bad.Even the paddle foundation brush is sub-par, and that's a really easy synthetic brush to make.It's a shame, this brush set LOOKs beautiful.

I've had the Elite Brush Set for a week & these are so soft! The case is not flimsy it holds the brushes very well & also comes with a zipper inside to store your brush guards or other things. So far the synthetic bristles haven't shed I'm very impressed. Synthetic bristles are the way to go in my opinion since it doesn't waste makeup like goat hair and so on... I like the light color bristles so when I wash them I know it's squeaky clean. This set covers everything for your face & you can't bet the value. And I would definitely recommend this set to a makeup artist & beginners as well. I love my eco friendly bamboo brush set it is truly amazing!!!

No soy una superprofesional del maquillaje pero el set me parece muy lindo y completo, el estuche esta super y las brochas se sienten increíbles y gracias a su variedad te permite curiosear sobre su uso.

Very respectable price for quality brushes- great for people learning to do professional makeup without spending a few hundred dollars on a popular branded set .This quality is comparable with MAC brushes and I prefer these over MAC due to the price and quantity .
