Don't Buy
11 years out of date, no working example of installing properly with current edition on Windows, no useful examples whatsoever. The perfect example of spending 500 pages to explain what could be done in 5. If you have to, get the free pdf version on vtk's website, but you're best bet is to read their source code and hope you can understand it.
