Oregon 108461A Universal Trimmer Head for 25 to 40 CC Trimmers

This is a great product. It fitted my 12 year old Kawasaki petrol strimmer perfectly. I had purchased a (supposedly) universal trimmer head from a garden centre and paid a lot more than I did for this one from Amazon. But in fact, it did not fit at all well, the socket being smaller than the connector on the Kawasaki. so I decided to try this one and I am very pleased. It seems to me that the tolerances on "universal fittings" are not always that "universal" from different manufacturers. I have purchased other Oregon products for other bits of garden equipment and always been pleased. The only small comment I would make is that unlike the original trimmer head, the holes for the fixing lugs do not go all the way through, so when you reassemble the two halves after having pulled it apart to pull out more line, you have to "feel it" back together by gentle twisting, as there is no visibility of the securing lugs. But that is a small thing and you soon get used to it. In fact, I am so pleased with it, I think I am going to order another, so that when I have a trimming session I can just swap the heads over and get on with weed removal and set up the line on both trimming heads later!

Really good head used oregon head for years. Set it longer and it slow down your strimmer stop you from smashing windows

So called universal fittings don't fit my top of the range husqavarna weed eater !!

Would not fit any of our strimmers

Am very pleased with this line head, I removed the line that it came with & put in 3 mm round line which I prefer to use & it has worked very well both on tall grass with docks & nettles mixed in & for strimming some lawns. Overall it's working well.

Great. Cheaper than alternatives but of good quality and feels as though it will last as long as the original - 16 years! I thought the price was good too.

Have already said they are replacement items

reçu rapidement. manque la piéce en métal de fixation sur le renvoi de débroussailleuse.tête de débroussailleuse non utilisable.le descriptif de l'article ne précise pas ce manque de pièce.très déçu.
