UPDATED REVIEW (2/12/2018) - UPGRADED Model IS EXCELLENT! 100% RECOMMEND NOW
UPDATED REVIEW (2/12/2018):So, the founder or creator of these socks contacted me directly and sent me two pairs for free to have me try out the NEW design and stitching and material. I have tried them out and tested them since December of 2017.As an avid weightlifter and trainer, I would have to say that these compression socks are 180 degrees DIFFERENT from prior models. These are basically NEW type of socks with better material. I would even go as far as say that they are better than the REFORMER brand because the material stops at the middle of the foot (which can give you pain when you are doing cardio or any other impact movements) -- these CompressionFX socks DO NOT stop at the middle foot but extend way past right before the toes. They feel great and amazing, whether you are doing squats, leg presses, or any other COMPOUND LIFTS.Since they are compression socks, I would advise NOT to leave them on for more than 3-4 hours.Unless you profusely sweat, there is no need to wash them right away (you can spray them with a anti-odor spray and reuse them).I also advise using them underneath a pair of socks and put socks over them because they are quite THIN compared to the older version which was TOO THICK.Lastly, wash them with your workout clothing (any Nike Dri-fit or spandex type of material) without fabric softener and let them hang dry.OVERALL: 100% RECOMMEND after tried and true testing. Thanks CompressionFX!Keep making great materials and great products.------------------------UPDATED REVIEW (2 STARS):Well, I guess I was too excited about the Compression FX socks -- the stitching has already ripped after only a few times use. (See attached photos)Also, these are really thick socks compared to Reformer Athletics, which has a tighter fit and feels more "compressed" for more stability.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019SCI0SO/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_64I am willing to change review if new version of socks are sent by CompressionFX.-------------Old Review:This is a Verified Purchase REVIEW:As an avid weightlifter and fitness trainer, these socks has helped with some issues in our ankles and joints after heavy days of working out hamstrings, calves, quads, and so forth. Doing compound lifts and standing all day at the gym, we put them on at home and they give a lot of support and relief when walking around the house. The material of the socks are dense and the compression is tight enough to feel the support. You can see that it was well-made and has superior stitching compared to other products. I anticipate that these will last a long time. They are perfect for those who go to the gym or those who have occupations that require them to stand around all day or those who walk a lot (baristas, nurses, post office masters, delivery persons, doctors, retail employees, etc).-AmazonPro ReviewsEst. Wow! Immediate Difference!
FYI - I rarely write reviews. But I just HAD to write one for this.I used these for the first time today (along with the week-old Dr. Scholls custom firt orthotics - see below ), and it was like walking on air! They surprisingly provide amazingly comfortable support - I HIGHLY recommend! See below for more detail and backgroundI've been trying to lose weight by walking on incline trainer treadmill. I also started doing multiple squats. Between the two of these exercises, I started to experience significant pain in my foot, especially in my heel (and I started having some knee discomfort as well). I was on my way to serious case of Plantar Fasciitis. I took Ruta 1M, which helped tremendously (I purchase my homeopathic meds from Washington Homeopathic or when in a pinch, I order 1M strength from Boiron which is pricier but wonderfully effective as well).Nonetheless, every time I resumed walking, even when not on an incline, the pain and discomfort would resume. I knew I needed foot and knee support to continue my weight loss efforts. I purchased Dr. Scholls custom fit orthotics, which helped a LOT. But, I still needed additional support because I still experienced some pain while walking. These Compression FX socks did the trick! I only put 4 stars because today is my first day using, and I'm not sure how long they will be so effective...

Wonderful Compression! Very Impressed And I Plan To Order More Of Them.
These Compression Sleeve Socks I am so pleased with! I ordered two other brands (Copper Infused Compression Recovery Ankle Brace Sleeve, Plantar Fasciitis Sock, Ankle Arch Support - 2 pcs set) that do not even come close and has no compression compared to the compression in these! Needless to say I am returning the others and getting a couple more pairs of these. The sizing was easy I just followed the measurement instructions my ankle was 8 inches and the area from heel to top arch bone was 13 inches so I ordered a large and they fit perfect. So Awesome!

Worth the Bucks
I just returned back to work and decided I needed these. I am in school and have 8hr clinicals. Afterwards, my feet would be sore and slightly swollen. The shoes I had were top of the line, so it made it bearable. However, I got new shoes for work and endured severe pains in my feet. The nerves and muscles ached, and I even had to come home and massage my feet for lengths of time to relieve it. I bought these socks to help because I figured I was suffering from plantar fasciitis, and my clinical shoes were helping mask the pain. I'm also obese and nearly completely flat footed (hate it!). The first time I wore them, my pain was delayed by 2 hours. As I began to wear them, I did see a significant difference. I wear them over my socks, and they don't get too hot for me. I would highly recommend this if you are suffering from severe foot pain or have to stand for countless hours on end. The key to success with this product is to consistently wear them. I bought compression socks and I plan to wear both products together.

Good product for mild compression to help with plantar fasciitis
These are a good product for mild compression associated with plantar fasciitis. I have suffered with P.F. for approximately 6 weeks with the most pain in my heel. I purchased these based on solid reviews. They do provide compression and are easy to wear with socks over them. I have not found any discomfort wearing them with shoes. I feel that the compression could be a bit more and that mostly has to do with the fact that they are just of the "short" variety. The longer compression socks seem to be tighter and provide more overall support although they do tend to hurt slightly more if you try to perform P.F. stretches with them. I like these small compression socks mostly to wear at bedtime since they are not uncomfortable in the least. I would have given five stars if the compression was slightly more.
