Excellent for Aerial Silks!
I use these to rig different aerial silks. You have to be able to trust them when you're doing the type of things that I do on them or any other aerialist. They're multifunctional not just for rigging aerial silks or a hammock.I definitely recommend Professional installation! These have to be installed into a beam, 4x4 or 2x6 minimum and be spaced properly. Make sure that the person is insured bonded and licensed! These are extremely secure and very very strong! I'll be buying more for my home studio. I have a different type in there right now. I'm much prefer these! It's great that it comes to both types of bolts as well!

Good for yoga or pullups
I thought these were very easy to install. I had to do it blind since I couldn't see the joists from up in the attic or looking through sheet rock but just one of these can easily handle my weight. After I installed them I decided to buy some wooden gynmastic rings and nylon straps so that I can do pull ups and my wife can do swing yoga. Its been nice to have that option inside the house. Gives me a reason to exercise during the pandemic.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YTJSPHC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The strap that came with these was too long to do pullups but the rings work out nicelyhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086XDMRCC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

These ceiling hooks are BEASTS
I realize I was buying something that needed to support my body weight in motion, but I couldn't believe how big they were when they arrived. They are the size of my hand. Each.Super simple to install considering they are long bolts and I was installing overhead. I drilled straight into a ceiling joist. Comes with very long bolts for the job, but also includes concrete bolts/anchors as an option. Screwing them into the joists was a workout in itself.Once installed, they feel incredibly sturdy. I'm still a little nervous about them...because...well they have to support me upside down, but I've used them several times for inversions and body-weight workouts and they haven't moved or budged a bit, so I think they are solidly in there. The "hooks" themselves are very solid metal-no worries at all that they might bend or warp. These babies aren't going anywhere!

Excellent theraband anchor
I attached the product to the wall at various heights to do a modified throwers 10 using therabands. The anchors are solid and stable. I use them everyday and am delighted with the choice. I bought two sets to give me the best ranges for the workout. Using the top anchor, I am able to place my feet on the bottom of the wall and stretch out with my hands above my head. The anchor holds well against my 200 lb weight. The anchors are well made and come with bolts for mounting to wood or concrete surfaces. I could not be more happy with my choice.

Will work with 1.5" climbing ropes (AFTER some modification)
Looking for something that you can thread a 1.5" rope (standard size for the workout/CrossFit crowd), this will work if you are willing to cut the smaller / inner metal loop off (tools required are in the pics). After I received this ceiling hook, this I realized rather quickly that it would not work (as delivered) for a climbing rope attachment (1.5" rope). Looking at the other offerings on Amazon, I didn't see anything else spec'd any better for a flat ceiling lag bolt attachment. The inner half moon will NOT allow a 1.5" Manila climbing rope's eyelet to pass through it as it is too small. The welds look strong, so I decided to modify (do this of your own accord obviously). But I now have modified both of my hooks for climbing rope attachment (garage with higher ceiling) and work shop where home gym is.Tools used: 4.5" inch angle grinder (used a cut off wheel first to cut the metal half moon loop off, then grinding wheel to clear off any big metal burrs). Then Dremel (type) tool to ensure all burrs were gone so the rope would have it smooth. If you don't have these tools (angle grinder and dremel), it will cost you about $40 at Harbor Freight...scale up the $$ accordingly if purchasing via others.See pics for the visual story.

Great value
I’ve been using these for gym rings and resistance bands. I weigh 220 and use 250 lbs of resistance on the walls. As long as you anchor them right, they seem to hold up. I have five anchors in my walls and ceiling for different exercises. My first one was TRX, and these are a far better value.

Sturdy
I live this set up. Easy to use & very sturdy. I like how there’s a spot for the handles and a spot for the trapeze. I’ve always hung my rig outside in random places. This is so much nicer than what I’ve been using. If you use the you tube instructional video to install then it’s easy peasy. Perfect.
