I purchased this product in gold and silver and as is all kinetic sand, they are awesome. The product was well packed and arrived fast/fresh and sealed. It is a perfect amount for one person to play with. It is soothing and enjoyable. When compared to other versions of kinetic sand (colored, natural, and moon/white sand) these metallic colors do seem to be stickier. It tends to thinly cake on your palms regardless of sand temperature similar to how cookie batter will when its not dusted with flour or sugar enough to work with. The other types of kinetic sand I've handled don't do this even when it is warm. That being said it's still enjoyable. But that is the cause of it not being 5 out of 5 stars. I have not faulted the product for not being as absurdly metallic/shiny as the clearly photoshopped packaging photos show. The metallic nature comes from glitter mixed in with the sand and polymer. As a result the coloring in person is more uniform and less bright than the advertising (see picture below). But who cares. There is definitely enough glitter to get it on your skin and whatever surface you are working on so beware. If you are not adverse to glitter contamination, this is a very pretty option for kinetic sand!

Bought 4 of these to put in jars to display all my shells that I have collected over time. The sand is really cool and my 40 year old brother couldn't stop playing with it. I love the shimmer it has as well.

my daughter loves this stuff and i (mama) find myself playing with it too! it is soft, holds its shape well and no mess!

this is supposed to not stick to your hands and it definitely does. makes a real mess. glitter residue to the max. i would recommend solid color sand as to this sparkly stuff.

My son absolutely loves Kinetic Sand, it is so easy to mould, has a unique texture that retains it's shape when you make a mould with it. he loves making little gold bars with this gold sand. It's not as sparkling gold as on the packaging but it's still a nice shade, it looks a lot like real sand so it is the most realistic looking play sand that I've seen, you can make sandcastles with this that look like they're straight off the beach. It doesn't stain your carpet and is easy to clear away, just scoop it up and put back in the bag, it retains it's soft texture. If there are any spillages simply sweep them up or hoover them. As it is so easy to use it is the perfect toy for children with sensory needs as it boosts their creativity and confidence. Hours of fun with this play sand. Highly recommended

This is the best gift for 7year old, my daughter is very fussy and she doesn't play with thing for too long. This is one thing she plays with at least twice a day. I wish it was little cheaper.

My kids love this sand, good product, arrived on time, very happy with it. Only downside was It was silver and I ordered gold.. which is my sons fav colour atm but never mind.
