Martin DCPA4R Rosewood Acoustic Electric Guitar with Hardshell Case

This guitar is beautifully handcrafted in the USA. The sound is deep and rich. The action is comfortable and I look forward to playing it when I have the spare time. As an entry level Martin, I couldn't be more happy with it.

Very nice guitar

The DCPA4R is arguably the best bang-for-the-buck acoustic-electric guitar on the market today. It plays and sounds better than some D-Series Martin's I compared it to that cost up to $1,000 more than it does. And the fact that the sides and back of the guitar are satin-finished doesn't bother me. That's a small price to pay for a guitar that sounds as good as the DCPA4R does.If you're in the market for a D-series Martin, do yourself a favor and give the DCPA4R a try. If you're like me, you'll be glad you did.

Playability, tone, looks, quality, craftsmanship it's all there. The only reason I didn't 5 star this review is that the back and sides are satin finish. For $1,300.00 I expect a fully finished guitar. Only quarrel with this otherwise outstanding guitar. Played a few times out and the Fishman F1 is quality electronics. Tuner tunes slightly flat but sounds great through an amp.

My husband has owned several Martin's from a D45 on down .This is the best of them all!!

Walked in to a Martin store in Fairbanks Alaska. Handed the guy behind the counter my card and started playing. I played guitars that were over 8k value without knowing and chose this guitar blind. Unbelievable.
