Excellent smart phone for older folk.
Absolutely brilliant phone for a senior citizen. Bought this for my 80 year old Mum who previously had tried my old more well known smart phone which just made her blood pressure go up! The Doro is so easy to understand. I get my Mum to think about what she wants to do next. If she wants to view a photo you press VIEW if you want to send a message you press SEND and once you have done this there is then a I WANT TO question button which if pressed gives you simple questions of want you might want to do next. It is so well thought out and with the easy to use camera my Mum can now also have photos of her family to hand to show to her friends. I highly recommend this smart phone for the older folk in your lives.

Very easy to use
I liked the fact that the Doro phone is very easy to use. Lots of nice features and the quality of sound on calls is excellent. I am still having trouble connecting to the web and also receiving emails with gmail but probably because I need help. Overall, just what I was looking for.

Recommended - good value. If my 85 years old mother can use it, anyone can.

Complaint
Phone has broken and it’s only been 2 months, software program and no way to get in contact with the seller. Wouldn’t recommend

Doro 8035 - horribly unreliable
I bought this for my Mum so that she could join in the Whatsapp and Messenger family groups we use. I also wanted her to have a reliable phone for when she's out and about as she's in her late 70's and has heart problems. Unfortunately this phone has proved terribly unreliable. I bought it last Christmas and I'm just about to contact Doro for the 2nd time to say once again it is switching off and won't switch back on. I had requested a replacement on the first occasion but they refused and it had a new battery and also had to be shipped to their repair centre - just as w went into Lockdown and she needed it most. Wish me luck in getting it replaced this time - not holding out much hope though.

Buyer beware!
Advertised as "UNLOCKED" in main advertisement - not so! Caused an enormous amount of problems for me with BT SIM card. Operating system, or the mobile itself is very slow to "boot up" from cold. Not a very good battery life, but realistically what was I expecting for the money. Perhaps I was unlucky, but the phone cut out dead a couple of times on me, and as already stated it seemed to take forever to restart? Perhaps I am prejudiced only ever having iPhones? Confirms my theory that one gets what one pays for?

One for Mother
Certainly does ajob for a 92 year old, which finger touch issues, however using a pen and all looks could. Just need to move the mindset from Mars Bar phone to Fully data enabled device:)

Already overheating
Less than 10 months down the line with this phone I am going to have to return it. It's functions are failing and it overheats on charging. Bought for my mum who has MND, so not happy at all as it's her lifeline.
