Fangs of K'aath Hardcover – April 1, 2000

Read this back when it was new and loved it. Very interesting characters and dialog. In fact the dialog is some of the best of any book i have read. Goes from dark and moody to laugh out loud hillarious in a matter of seconds.. Really with the author had done more with this fun world he created.My only problem with the book is the sort of subplot that appears towards the last 1/3. For me, i could tell how it was part of the story but dont like how it was fit in.Still wasnt enough for me to not remember the book fondly.Highly recommend and hope the author revisits the world.ALso consider reading it while listening to Loreena Mckennitt's Night Ride Across the Caucasus. fits much of the story very well.

This was a Fantastic read, I enjoyed every moment. At times I found it very hard to put the book down. I fell in love with the heroes and cheered them on all the way. This is the second book of Paul Kidd's that I have read. The other being A Whisper Of Wings, and I have to say that he surpasses that work with this book. This book had me caring for the charaters in the first couple of pages, something other books fail to accomplish even at the end of the tale. The story is fantastic: weaving in magic, love, war, and political intrige seamlessly. This book takes you on quite an emotional ride, and is not for the feint of heart. I really cannot say enough for this title, or for the author. Don't miss out on this book, you will miss out on a treasure.

Just as Shazanad enchanted the heart of the Sultan, so has Sandhri done to mine, Paul Kidd has flown to the top of the list of my favorite authors, few books these days have me reading deep into the night, this marvelous book had me up till 6:30 in the morning with me still turning page after page begging for more. I cannot recommend that book highly enough, it is one I will read again and agin in years to come. I Iook forward to its sequel with great anticipation.

Wonderful story, good characters and a lot of action. I good way to kill some time in reading. Can't wait to read the second book.

This is both a great story, and a great Arabian Fantasy. Paul Kidd is an fantastic writer with his own great style, his characters are full of life and the story is full of so much life. Action, adventure, fantasy, love and danger, this book captures it all.

If you like stories, this one is for you. A Beggar to Queen story with some characters that just won't quit. A real good example of why you should always be polite and friendly to everyone you meet. You never know to whom you may be talking.

I have read this book at least 5 times. Each time I read it I am spell bound. It is a very well written book and well worth the read. The book is full if sword play, magic, and love.
