I bought this sandwich maker because I was bored of roasting bread on a Tawa. This is a perfect Sandwich maker. The few things which I like about it are:1. Very convenient to use without much frills to confuse you. Put the stuffed sandwich, close the lid. When the green light is turned off, you are done.2. Very easy to clean and bread never sticks to the surface of the Sandwich maker. Simply wiping the surface with a moist cloth after use is sufficient.3. You can virtually make a sandwich with minimum or no butter/oil.Try it .You can RETURN it also within 10 Days .My experience with this product was excellentRecommended.

I am very disappointed that amazon is hosting products like this one. Wrong info about product is given. The lights on product are just showpiece and there is no auto timer unlike what is mentioned here and in user manual. You will need to keep watch on time and have to decide how long to cook, there is no timing mechanism. The lights are just a show. Also the locking mechanism is low quality and one will have to make considerable effort to close the lid, you will need to use both hands for locking and you even risk burning your hand while locking or unlocking. My opinion, it's a waste of money and they don't give you option to return the product. There is only replacement option but when you get something that doesn't fulfill promise or lacks a crucial feature that was promised then you don't want replacement, you want refund - and that you won't get. I am considering my money lost and I am seriously thinking of reducing reliance on Amazon (I had similar experiences in past and refused to learn but now I think it is not logical to continue with a shop where product descriptions are wrong)

It's easy to clean. It gives perfect shape but it doesn't make waffle crispy that's the only disadvantage n waffles taste good when they are crispy. It remains slightly uncooked also. Will not recommend anyone to buy this as it doesn't give the expected result.

I ordered the sandwich maker, but they sent me the better, more expensive sandwich grill. I've only used it a few times. Easy to clean. Cooks quickly and evenly. Can fit 2 slices of bread to make two sandwiches. Have also grilled success of tomatoes and onions. Time will tell if non stick coating holds up
