Bought much larger version of this kit online at Costco over 13 years ago (Haven't seen it there since) and I has been one of the best purchases I have ever made sure the 8mm plastic tubing kinda sucks the pressure regulator sucks and tends to rupture your waterlines and will probably fail in a few years or less BUT THE WATERING CARROT looking things have been in the sun for over 13 years no signs of issues I just take them in and clean them every 2 or 3 years and they work great but you got to ditch the pressure regulator for a gravity bucket (paint it or the sun will destroy it quick) slap a toilet fill valve in it and and replace the 8mil plastic tubing with 8mil silicon tubing of the same brand and you will have a setup that will last years although this set is way over priced get one without that pressure regulator or buy one with their bucket (I made my own with 1/2" drip tubing and some funky transition to 8mil somewhere) 5+ stars on the watering carrots themselves

It's been fairly maintenance free, and I like having a system that doesn't require batteries or a timer. I usually have to check it after the first rain of the season, after which sometimes one of the sensors will come loose from their tubing, causing a stream of water to be wasted. The latest issue is the pressure reducer, which appears to have sprung a leak, and can only handle maybe 1PSI before leaking out through a hole in the side. I'm happy enough with my blumat, that i'm ordering a replacement pressure reducer.

We have used the Blumot system for 5 yrs now in our front yard pots.We love the ease of use and trouble free design. So now we ordered the same system to use in our backyard pots, and plants After setting the system up in the spring, we just sit back and watch our plants thrive thru the fall. I'd never be without this great watering system!
