Best mouse I've owned in 12 years.
I bought this mouse when my Razer Spectre's laser began to have tracking issues, as well as the mouse buttons and scroll wheel having issues with properly reading the clicks and scrolls, whether it be it wouldn't quite register a click or the scrollwheel would just go by itself.Found this on sale a year ago now for CS:GO and I can honestly say it's the best mouse I've owned since my Intellimouse 2.0 back in 2005/2006The laser is extremely pin-point accurate, the scrollwheel is firm and doesn't randomly click or scroll unwarranted as I've had with all of my Razer mice thus far at some point or another. The input lag is non-existant and where some mice have some issues with movement translation; IE: You move your mouse 2 inches right, and then 2 inches back to the left, the cursor won't be in the same position. No such problems with the RAWI'd honestly have to say without this mouse I wouldn't be anywhere near the skill-level I was before it, it feels natural in your palm and the weight is balanced to the point you can move it around smoothly without too much trouble, and its not too light, making fine-tuned movements as precise as you need them to be. Oh, and while I'm personally not ambidextrous, or left handed, this mouse has buttons placed on either side, and its mirrored so as to fit left and right hand grips. My only complaint is that the software lacks the ability to change the DPI to say 400, instead it only goes to multiples of say 450 etc., but that's very easily fixed with DPI calculators online.10/10, 100% recommended for hardcore gamers and casuals alike.

Great product, few quirks
I bought this mouse about 9 months ago as a replacement for an old wireless mouse. At first the size of the mouse threw me off but I quickly adapted and it became one of the best mice I'd ever used. However, there are a couple things that I didn't much care for:-The gloss finish accumulates fingerprints and buildup and can feel bizarre after extended use-My mouse would occasionally freeze up whenever I entered a new window or started a new application. It didn't happen often, but it required me to unplug and plug the mouse back in. It might seem like a small problem but once it happened in a game of LoL I finally decided to purchase a new mouse.Overall, in the time I used it, it performed very well. Highly recommended.

The braided cable seems relatively sturdy, but in experience
Was looking at the wireless version but then realized I swapped the batteries in my current wireless mouse at least twice in one browsing session...a headache I don't need to have.As for the sensei wired [RAW], it's a decent mouse, it's lightweight and smooth, and the orange glow on low setting just about matches my ducky zero mx keyboard. The braided cable seems relatively sturdy, but in experience, braided cables get brittle and stop working after a while, so time will really have to see how that holds up. My only real gripe so far is the side buttons, it's ambidextrous, yes, but the buttons are sort of too light, frequently while hitting a button with my thumb, the whole mouse slides over and I click the opposite side button with my ring finger...though this is probably dependent on how you hold the mouse in your hand. While this would detract from my praise of this mouse normally, steelseries software makes all the buttons customizable, so I just disabled the opposing culprit button and made the other a macro.

great mouse for the first few months
I've owned this mouse for 8 months and decided to write a review after I've noticed it's quality drop after 4-6 months of use.I play league of legends, so it's a lot of clicking, scrolling, and moving. Don't get me wrong, great mouse for the first few months. After 4 months, the sensor would glitch and I'd experience my cursor messing up in game (or in desktop) and not be able to control it. This happened periodically, not often. After 6 months, the mouse on high sensitivity (if you play on high) is now awkward to control. It doesn't feel smooth, and it feels really weird to use. Now it's been 8 months and the mouse has basically lost it's control. It is usable for desktop activities or moderate gaming, but for high sensitivity, high speed, and multitask gaming it is impossible to use and be precise about your controls.4/5 for the first half year,1/5 after a time.

It's good, it's not as small as I'd hoped but ...
It's good, it's not as small as I'd hoped but still nice. Only reason I didn't rate it higher was because I got a similar mouse from amazon that was the smaller size I wanted, and seems to function every bit as well but was less than half the price (Perixx)

the latter simply has better ergonomic shape
Just received this today, I have to say when I first got my hand on this mouse, I was not as impressed as when I first put my hand on a Razer Naga mouse, the latter simply has better ergonomic shape, but that didn't stop me from loving this gaming mouse. I have read in other reviews that some would complain about leaving finger prints on the glossy finish of the mouse, I have dry hands and I do not have a problem with that. The CPI switch can be very handy when playing games. Overall very sturdy made mouse, and would recommend it. The only thing I would complain about is that with the standard Poll rate(1000) and the lightings on, the mouse tend to heat up, and feels warm when holding it. That could be useful as a heater in winter times but I really cannot stand it, so I installed the driver from Steelseries and turn off the lights, and set the poll rate to 500. Apart from that I can say no downs about this mouse.

Great performance but too slippery!
the heat orange edition is way too slippery in my hands. It cause my hand to get sore from constantly gripping the mouse. the performance of this mouse is amazing however! a great mouse for FPS gaming!
