Igloo Sportsman 20Qt Rotomold Cooler

So far, this cooler is worth every penny. Very well-built and I would stack it up against Yeti, Cabela's, and OtterBox (I have owned all 3)Because this is only a 20 quart cooler, it is not going to hold ice for 7 days like some of the larger models.I will pre-chill this thing and fill it with about 8 or 10 beverages and then add a small bag of ice... I will follow up in a few days.For reference: currently using a Coleman Xtreme 70 quart at work. It claims to hold ice for 5 days. In 90 to 100 degree Kentucky heat, it will maintain ice for 3 to 4 days. The only problem is the AMOUNT of ice needed to fill it... It basically holds 2 large bags that cost about 10 bucks. I expect this 20 quart (although much smaller) will SAVE me money on ice.*** Ice test is decent. I've used this thing several times and it's perfect for short (2-3 day) trips. I have the best luck using 2 small ice packs, add drinks, and a 7lb bag of ice for the remainder.If you need 5 to 7 days of ice, you gotta go bigger capacity.

Well I have had ice in this for 3 days now.I feal it will last at least 5 days.This is a very strong built cooler and it will last a long time.I would never pay $200 for a cooler but for $45 I figured I would try this out.I am very pleased with the performance so far.Well worth what I paid.If your like me and won't spend the big bucks for a cooler then this is a fantastic option.Edit:I found when it's as hot as it gets in Ohio the ice will last in this a solid 3 days.Thats great for the price,and all I wi ever need.

I have a large roto molded cooler for camping, wanted something smaller for day trips, pick nics etc,etc. Not wanting to spend the money on a yeti, this caught my eye for the price and made in the USA. So far a great little cooler. Only issue I've noticed id the bolts that hold the handle on keep coming loose. Not a deal breaker for me, just a heads up. I'd buy another one if I needed, might put some locktight on the bolts see if that fixes it!!

Love the cooler, but the handle design is flawed and snapped after two uses. Saw others have had this problem as well.

I thought I'd give this cooler by Igloo a try as it seemed less expensive than some of the other heavy-duty coolers in the market. I actually bought it for a weekend surf/camp trip to pack cold food for the weekend and of course a couple beers! To my surprise (I packed the cooler on Thursday night) by Sunday evening the ice was still ice, my food was still cold and my beers were PERFECTLY CHILLED to cap my weekend off! Good on Igloo for putting a relatively inexpensive heavy-duty cooler out in the world! Cheers!

The construction and look are great. My issue is with the lid seal. Same issue that others have mentioned, the seal is not great as it will allow water to run out when closed and tipped over. Also when the lid is shut there is contact with the body of the cooler further proving the seal is not making full contact.

Great cooler! Not too bulky and and not too heavy for a molded cooler. Keeps ice well, nice rubber latches and tethered drain cap. The plastic handle is holding up so far. Overall excellent small cooler for the size and money…and it’s made in THE US of A!

I really like this cooler; however, the bots came loose the second time I used it and the handle almost came off. The handle is really flexible when you have it loaded and it worries me it will snap. It has worked great so far after tightening bolts

When I did the lighttest - I found a part where the insulation was missing. In the cooler there was a paper with a 5 year guarantee and a number to call. I called the number and it is no longer working - I then found Igloo's number online and called and was told that they no longer produce this item and that the guarantee won't be honoured. I was also told that some of them have these gaps in the insulation but that it isn't considered a manufacturing issue and the only way to test it is by filling it 1/3 with ice. I did, left it out and the next day it was all water - and the cooler was precooled. I maybe got a dud, but still, it is important to know that the warranty no longer is valid. I ended up returning it.

Cooler was closed and in shade. Ice melted overnight. Very disappointed because I bought two.
