Designed from the ground-up by our own engineering team, the X900 Tricopter is a culmination of months of design, testing and material sourcing to provide you with the perfect mix of quality, performance and value. The X900 Tricopter frame is a Hobbyking exclusive meaning you won't find it anywhere else! The X900 features a very nicely finished glass fiber main frame, shock-absorbing landing legs and folding aluminum arms. The shock-absorbing landing legs are a great feature to handle those rough landings that we all have from time to time. The integrated tail servo mount is constructed of glass fiber as well, allowing you to mount your favorite micro/mini tail servo for yaw control. The rear motor mount pivots on a dual ball bearing supported shaft providing super smooth and precise movement. As a result, the yaw control is locked-in and very precise while flying. We offer a full line of multi-rotor electronics such as multi-rotor control board, ESC, motors and more, so it has never been easier or more affordable to get your multi-rotor frame in the air! All necessary hardware is included. Simply add your own electronics.Specs:Front Arm Lengths: 420mm (boom base to motor shaft center)Rear Arm Length: 450mm (boom base to motor shaft center)Motor Bolt Holes: 16/19/25mmFrame Weight: 385g (w/out electronics) Required:28-XX or 35-XX brushless outrunner motor x 3 25~40A brushless ESC x 3High speed micro/mini servo for the tail (digital servo recommended) 10~12 inch propeller (2 standard/1 reverse rotation)Multi-rotor control board2650~3300mAh 11.1V lipoly4CH Transmitter & Receiver ID: 9171000157

The frame is amazing, although I do not recommend it to beginners
The frame is amazing, although I do not recommend it to beginners. I frame arrived 2 days early so that was awesome, however the instruction suck all you have is an exploded view of the frame, no inventory list & no instructions just a diagram, but most of it did snap in place. The only problem I had was that one of the springs for the landing gear stretched on me so now one of the landing gears wont compress if it has a hard landing. I've tried looking for another spring but I can't find any. This frame however is good, it has a really sleek look and its very compact when folded. If you do decide to order it BEWARE it comes in a small box, but when assembled its a pretty big tricopter

It's OK just needs better fitting screws.
It is a nice sturdy frame but the screws just don't seem to be an exact fit. Also I am concerned about the countersunk screws on the bottom. I'm afraid there is to little material to hold. But so far it hasn't broke. The feet with the springs do not do much.
