Worked great
I installed this power supply after the one in my computer failed. The installation took me less than 10 minutes. It was literally unplug all of the cables from the old unit and attach the ones for the new one. The power supply has been working very well and it was considerably cheaper than buying a new PC.

Price was reasonable, unit arrived on time so that I could replace the PowerSupply on a DOA Dell. It served its purpose without fuss.

Power Supply barely made it a year. Intermittent shut-down of computer led to eventual failure of complete boot process. What I initially believed was a software/hard drive problem was actually due to this power supply.

Product review
The i.t. guy at work picked the item, i ordered it. It works, but the blower goes on and off sporatically, which i understand is a new improvement in power supplies. However, it is very noisy and cycles on and off even when the computor is "ideling". It does not give me a confident feeling in this product. It is, however, working and I am not going to replace it unless it fails.If this is the way that the product is supposed to work, then so be it, but it does not instill confidance.Amazons performance in delivering the product was quite satisfactory.

Required replacement for some HP computers
Fairly average PSU, but some HP machines won't hook up properly without it. It's a cheapie -- won't set any records for performance or durability, but it works.

Exact description, exact replacement, reasonable price.
The power company said the electrical spike was caused by a "foreign object on the power line". I don't know what it was, but it completely destroyed 7 surge protectors (which protected the attached equipment) and somehow killed the power supply in my HP desktop. Out to Amazon, and two days later I had the exact replacement part I neeeded. It fit and connected exactly and the computer was back in service.Couldn't ask for more.

Power Supply For HP Computer
The product was packaged securely and all wiring was intact.Howerver it would have been helpful if a wiring chart would have been included to make it easier to verify each wiring connection to the computer.
