I find that biotin helps my horse with hooves that crack easily. I can see a difference in the growth patterns of his hoof when he is on a biotin supplement and when he isn't. This is a pretty simple formula that mainly contains biotin. I have used other hoof supplements that contained biotin as well as a bunch of vitamins and other ingredients. If I am feeding everyone a general supplement that covers the bases and I just need to add some biotin to one horse this is a great product for that. If you want to supplement more than just biotin you might want to look for a product that has more ingredients and covers more. This product works great for me. It is a powder, so I add it to grain with a little water or mash so it sticks to the grain. I have not had any problems with them refusing to eat it. It seems to last a long time too. Good company, good product, good price.

Great product

My Farrier said "Get Biotin". So I did!! It's going to take a while for us to see the complete results just because hose can take a really long time. However, I'm already seeing it take same to be a better and stronger hoof. My mare likes the supplement. She doesn't have any problem eating it at all. It's a small dose so feeding it daily is easy. My Farrier said it's looking like a good start to healing her hooves. I do have to say that I've used this brand before and I feel confident that the ingredients are what they claim. In the past there's been some supplements that I've gotten where I've doubted the a) quality and b) if what they said was in it, was really in it. I feel like with this brand; I don't have to doubt that and they put out a very quality product that I'm happy to feed my animals.

I've seen a huge improvement in my mares hooves after starting this supplement. She had flaky hooves when we started using it and now her hooves are growing out strongly. She's now barefoot which I didn't think was possible.

The Uckele Brand continues to create great products. My horse has typical "Paint" hooves...they're all white and get brittle with cracks. Since he's been on this biotin we've been seeing some nice, healthy hoof growth coming out. His hooves seem to be firming up and holding shape better too. I know how important biotin is as well as zinc for hoof health. I'll be keeping him on this. I trust Uckele and have found their products to be effective and a good value. My horse eats it without issue...we make a mash out of his pellets and senior feed so his supplements can be mixed in so he can't sort them out but we have had zero issues with him refusing based on taste.

Horses don't seem to be bothered by scent or flavor. Easy to dose. I did not see a big difference in feet or coat.
