After my failing steps finally crumbled, I bought these concrete steps to place against my brick porch as temporary since it was apparently going to take months to get a mason in to build and brick new ones. I decided as it became more frustrating to find someone, I started prepping the temporary steps to do the job myself. I had to remove the decorative edge and take 3/4" off the bottom step to get the rises to become equal when finished. -got a diamond grinder blade for $5 and did it all surprisingly fast.My only concern is, the grinder heated up to such a degree, that I was concerned it would blow. I took lots of breaks to let it cool down.

I don't know if I got a defective unit, but of course I am past the 30 day return window by 2 days. I just haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. I decided to pull it out and get the cutting blade and cutting blade guard put on. I slipped off the grinder guard pretty easy enough, but unless there is some magical way to put on the blade cutting guard, mine does not fit. I can take the grinder guard on and off over and over with no issue, but the blade one will not go on. Make sure you test all parts when you receive your amazon stuff because apparently you can't assume "new" items will actually work ....sigh

Item arrived timely. Read the instructions and checked contents-all there. Came with 3 disks. Heavy grinding, light grinding and cutoff blade. Switch has a safety clip and trigger lock to keep grinder running without hold the trigger, more inconvenient but in this litigious age, practical. What surprised me the first time I turned it on, was the high torque. This baby is real powerful and should do you very well. I REALLY LIKE IT. Comes with storage case also, so you won't lose any parts like the tightening wrench.

Powerful grinder, comes with great accessories such as a cutting, grinding and sanding disk.I used this to grind aluminium and it is powerful, it does not slow down as easily as others I've used. It also didn't get very hot so that is good. Overall I think it is a very well made piece and great for anyone looking for a more powerful grinder. It did not trip any breakers or caused any type of issue when used in my garage.

Great grinder that rivals the big name brands The Grinder itself is nice quality with a heavy duty feel. It worked great for grinding on metal and it's nice that it comes with extra disks so your ready to go right out of the box. Communication is great. If you have an issues they email you right away to solve them. Overall pretty happy with the grinder and the customer service.

Used at the shop for 6 months and we abuse it and never lets us down. Comes with all accessories you need as far as guards and wheels for cutting and grinding.Build quality is AAA and power cord is long and thick for correct amperage the grinder needs.Is compatible with all wheels and the power button is respond and doesn’t fatigue your hands due to the safety.Must buy and is super affordable with the same great quality as the big boys.

I found this angle grinder after searching for several heavier duty models online and in discount tool stores after my $10 unit from harbor freight became unusable. In the end, I decided at $60 it was worth a try. I have a 5A 4" Makita that I have owned for about 15.5 years and a 11A 4.5" Hercules that I also just purchased about 6 months ago. I have been very happy with the Hercules unit and almost bought another, but I am SUPER happy that I picked up this Tacklife unit instead. I was impressed with the packaging and the fact that it comes with a soft storage case and an extra, higher protection shield.. Plus the grinding wheel and cut off wheels that they throw in are a nice touch. I have not put hundreds of hours on this unit yet, but so far the bearings and gears appear to be very high quality. The unit does not vibrate as much as the other models I have used and it has plenty of power. The only thing I think Tacklife could really improve would be the handle. It is the only item that ships with the kit that appears cheaply made. It would be great if they increased the plastic wall thickness and added some wide grooves to increase the grip-ability. I would definitely purchase again!

Wow, this angle grinder is impressive and feels very heavy duty in my hand. I powered it on for the first time and the sheer torque blew me away. It almost jumped out of my hand (glad I tested with no wheel or chucks on it). And the variety pack of wheels was a very nice touch and eased getting going/testing. My experience has prompted me to order some of their other power tools. I will update on this grinders longevity and on the other tools I have on order (hammer drill/polisher)
