GreenView Pure Grass Seed Kentucky Bluegrass Blend, 3 lb. Bag

This grass looks great. Takes a little while to grow but that's why I went with a slow growing grass. Needs lots and lots of water to germinate but when it does it is so nice and green. Spray it with Tenacity to keep weeds away and doesn't kill this new grass. See a bunch of bad reviews but I'm thinking they didn't water enough.

I did a lot of research and asked Grok what the best product was for my situation and this stuff came up. It is very easy to lay down, the fact that it has sprouted within two weeks is amazing. The seeds are small so I feel that the coverage was fantastic. I will continue to buy this KBG seed going forward. Zero weed filler. Amazing product. Aurora, Colorado.

This gras has a decent germination rate even if you don't follow the proper procedure of mixing/covering with soil, and regular watering. Lots of seeds. Not pencoater seed is of course a plus because you gen more seed in the bag. I noticed ~5% of seed husk, so cleani g off the seeds coukd have been done somewhat bettter. You can just sprinkle this seed over the existing lawn to overseed or over semi-barren spots to repair the lawn. In my case the germination was good even in completely barren clay soil with no fertilizer added whatsoever. Slightly more expensive than I'd be comfortable paying for next time, so ill be bargain shopping next time I need grass, or until the seller drops the price at least10%.

After 3 weeks of watering 3-5 times a day for 10 minutes each, NOTHING! I was really disappointed that it did not grow. But I just kept the watering schedule and it started growing all of the sudden. After a little over a month, I have grass that's almost 2 inches tall, and it's looking good. Would I use this product again? Yes, but I would be more patient this time and aerate the soil more than before.

Save your money. I have attempted to grow this grass seed in many different locations at different times of the year. I follow the instructions and not one blade grass has grown. I have used over half a bag, still nothing. Unbelievable!

About ten years ago, I used grass seeds from local nurseries to fill a few bare patches, and it worked. Then, last two times their seeds didn't germinate at all - zero, nada, zilch. So, I used sod. Again this year I needed to fill a few bare patches and also for reseeding and decided to try out this brand as my final experiment with seeds. To my amazement, all seeds started germinating and I could see green baby blades showing up in about three weeks. Unfortunately, I sowed the seeds late May and the weather started getting hot. All those germinated ones under the shade survived but the ones under direct sun got scorched and died. The moral is that either I should have started early spring, or should have provided some shade where the repaired spots were under direct sun. Anyways, I am very pleased with the success. The seeds are fine. There is a lot left from the three poound bag and I will try the remaining patches sometime late September to October. Attached are pictures of the successful patches about 24x12 inch after three weeks and four weeks. I fully recommend this product.

Unfortunately the "coverage " is not estimated properly on the bag. Not even close 😞

Excelente calidad de césped, lo recomiendo ampliamente y sugiero que cuando lo vayan a sembrar asegúrense de preparar muy bien su terreno. Yo hice una mezcla de arena, Peat moss y tierra negra y me funcionó a la perfección, después de 8 días comenzó a germinar y en 15 días ya tenía cubierta el área, obviamente sin descuidar el riesgo cada dos días.
