HEAD Sea Vu Dry Full Face Snorkeling Mask

I did my research and this seemed to be a good brand for the full face mask. Either this is a knock off or the articles I read were wrong, but DO NOT BUY this mask. We went on an island vacation and tested it in the pool first. The first 5 minutes went well and then my girlfriend couldn’t breath through the mask. She came out of the water and we tried testing it that way. We thought it was the ball to block out water and it wasn’t. When she inhaled, the mask just gets sucked onto her face. I advise not to buy this, for yours or your loved ones life sake.

Works very well, and stays on even during somewhat active swimming (haven't tried swimming fast laps with it). If you've ever worn a gas mask, trying to breath in this feels about the same.

I liked the fit and seal of the mask. I didnt like the way the snorkle doesn't detach from mask after installing it. It is very hard to pack installed. Overall I liked the mask but it is different than conventional mask.

This mask does not provide enough air flow. I bought it to use on my vacation. I got dizzy, confused and had to be helped from the water.Hypoxia!Snorkel shop said there have been other similar issues.Dangerous product!

Leaks while submerged in water - now they won’t return it? How do you test for leaks without submerging the item. Friends worked great mine did not. Horrible return policy.

Great fit. Very adjustable

My husband & I recently used our new Head Sea Vu masks in Mexico. Fabulous. No leakage, no fogging, super easy to put on & off. We were apprehensive after reading/hearing reports of breathing difficulty but did not experience any problems. I knew I was getting a good amount of fresh air in my snorkel because I could totally smell the ocean scent (lots of seaweed churned up due to wind/waves). My biggest surprise was how the mask does NOT have to be super tight on your face to form an effective seal. I still got a bit of of a red line on my nose & forehead, but nothing like a regular mask. I absolutely LOVED how easy it is to put on & take off. Using the 2-piece snorkel set was always very cumbersome & awkward for me. The straps are a softer kind of elastic so they don’t rip your hair. Sure, there are less expensive models, but we felt most comfortable buying a mask made by what is basically a highly reputable scuba/diving company (Mares). I’ve never been more comfortable snorkeling than I was with this mask. Highly recommend.

We each bought one of these for our recent trip to Hawaii. They worked great! At first I had a hard time breathing, but I’m blaming that on the fact that I’m pretty out of shape. Once I caught my breath, it was a great experience! Something I loved about these compared to typical snorkels was that we could talk to each other while we were snorkeling. Being able to point out (and keep eyes on) a cool fish was awesome! The view through these things is also way better than the typical snorkel setup. My only disappointment is that the snorkel is pretty hard to detach. We had to use a butter knife to carefully pry them apart without breaking the snorkels. Other than that, there we no issues. It didn’t pull my hair, didn’t leak or fog up, and absolutely no water came in through the snorkel. We loved our experience with this mask and would recommend them to anyone! Just wish we had ordered them in time for prime to get to us! We would have paid much less compared to what we had to pay for them at Scheels.
