Excellent, but be mindful of your installation needs
I've used the Tyent Edge-9 at a friend's house and have been envious of it's sleek design and quality of the ionized water. We live in a hard water area and the Tyent filters and cleans the water to a noticeable difference. Installed off an RO system, it's even better. Better for the function of the machine and better for the quality of filtered water. On his system, I've also been impressed with the configurability of the Tyent. You can easily set your pH level, see filter health, and get color-coded feedback so you know what you're getting out of the tap. I'm not super in to drinking alkaline water, but it is great for brewing coffee as it neutralizes the natural acids and brings out deeper richer flavor. This is how I primarily planned (plan) to use it. Buuuuuut... As others have mentioned, installation is easy, but you do need to understand how the unit is plumbed and how that will work at your location. The Tyent gives you two installations options: 1. Attach it directly to your faucet. This will work only if you have a standard faucet spigot. Any decorative faucet, faucet with a pull-down spigot, pot filler, etc. will likely not work (plus, the installation is a little unsightly). 2. Under the sink installation. In this method, you simply T-off your water inlet. You'll need an additional kit from Tyent or you can piece it together with common parts found at any big box hardware store. For my location, I planned for an under sink installation as I figured I could easily tap into my RO system to supply water. Technically this is correct, but there are a couple of requirements I didn't consider prior to attempting installation. First is countertop access to the waterline. Where I had planned to T-off was on the feedline to my refrigerator's ice maker as it is downstream from my RO system and close to my coffee maker. Tapping into the waterline at this point is possible for me, but...... The second consideration is proximity to your sink. Not terribly obvious in any of the product photos, the Tyent has a waste water line that must drain into a sink. You can actually see a little puck in one of the product photos - that is the waste line that suctions to your countertop. In looking through the product description prior to purchase, both on Amazon and the TyentUSA site, I couldn't find any reference to this requirement which is what has now thrown me for a loop. In my preferred installation, I would have to run a waterline back to the sink for drainage. Alternately, I'll need to go *through* my countertop. So, yes, installation is quick and easy - you simply T-off a waterline - but the method in which your able to actually do this is what becomes complicated. I want a clean installation with no tubes or wires exposed, but I'm also not prepared to start drilling through my counter. Interestingly, in the photo of one reviewer who commented on the ease of installation, you can clearly see a gap between their counter and the wall. This would make installation much easier for sure. I had some sense about how the Edge-9 would need to be installed and checked for plumbing instructions prior to getting this unit. I do wish this information was easier to find upfront as it would have better informed my decision to get the filter at this time. We're planning a remodel later in the year, so we'll be able to run lines and plan for a clean installation when that project kicks-off, but until then, it's going to have to collect a little dust. Ultimately, I don't regret picking this up now and know it will eventually get some use. I also know from using it at my friend's house that it is a quality product, if not a bit of a luxury item. I do, however, wish I could found installation instructions ahead of time so I could better plan for and enjoy its use.

Dual Filtration System - Hydrogen Enhanced Water Purification
Amazing water filtration system! So many settings, so you need to read up on everything this can do. We cook at home, a lot! So, using the right water can actually make that difference. We were thinking of getting one of those $5,000 systems, but this is perfect for us, and saved some money. Easy to install, just read it all, always make sure something of this quality is setup correctly.

Pro level water filtration!
I’m blown away by this system. Installation was a bit tricky, but that’s because of our kitchen sink setup. Once installed, it works great. I love being able to control the level of alkalinity. The water tastes incredible. Being on municipal water, I like being able to filter out all the unnecessary garbage that’s added. The screen is bright and easy to read. The unit itself is robust and heavy duty. Very solidly built. The price is a little prohibitive. But, if you are serious about the quality of the water that you put in your body, there’s no better choice.

Well-designed, easy-to-operating, very effective water ionizer
I am very impressed with this product. It's far easier to install than I had expected, as it merely ties in to your existing water system at the point of use. Then, with the easily understood digital interface, you just select the water conditioning option you prefer and viola! You're done. Although the filters are proprietary and are a bit spendy as a set but on the other hand, they are very effective and easy to install/replace. The unit looks fantastic, not that this is a consideration over functionality. Overall, I am more than pleased with this product and would get it again.

Fancy Water, Healthier Me!
This has turned my boring tap water into something I actually want to drink. I love being able to choose the pH level with just a tap. Since using it, I feel more energized and hydrated—and yes, my coffee even tastes better, which is a big deal in this household! LoL
