Great chair. Expensive
Great chair. Expensive, yes, but should last a very, very long time. It is quite comfortable. I wish the lumber support was a little more adjustable, but it works well.I added the Atlas headrest, which is nice, however I find I rarely actually lean against it. If you are considering a headrest I might get the chair without one first and see if you need it.

Bad instructions for a very average chair!!
Very ambiguous instructions that were very generic and not to the specific model. Wish they were easy like that of ikea. Took a couple of hours to put it together when it would have taken just 15 min with some sensible instructions. The steps seem very hacky like punching a hole through the mesh.

Not at your ideal weight? Maybe look elsewhere.
I've had this chair less than 24 hours so I'm only posting first impressions. I bought the B size and it seemed I was on the low end for the recommended height for that size. I'm pretty short at 5'5". I'm also very overweight at probably around 240 lbs. I do not believe this chair was designed to fit my body type. I don't know what the different styles are called, but some chairs are designed to provide comfort with padding (let's call it traditional) and some are designed with this stretchy material (let's call em stretchy). The stretchy chairs have this hard plastic outer edge around the areas where your body contact that holds the stretchy material in place. The idea (I guess) is that your weight is distributed over this material which stretches to accommodate it. Well my backside is so wide that some of it spills into this hard plastic area and it's not comfortable. I would describe it as having part of you up against this unmoving frame and the rest of you sinking into this material that doesn't cushion you, but rather just bears your weight. Also I have short legs and I was under the impression that there was a way to make the seat more shallow so my feet can sit flat on the floor, but I haven't found it yet. (That's not really the chair's fault probably.)I'm probably not the type of person that should be using this chair. I'm hoping that as I lose weight (if I do), that this chair will become more comfortable and its benefits will reveal themselves.

now owning one I have to admit that I love it and have no regrets
I have owned my HM exec for almost 2 years. I struggled with why this chair was so expensive before purchasing, now owning one I have to admit that I love it and have no regrets. Very comfortable, good on a bad back, by far the nicest/classiest looking office chair on the market (guess thats why it made it to the Museum of Modern Art) and feels and works like a high-quality chair. My only small complaint is the levers that hold the arm rests in position tend to come undone, I find myself reaching back to make sure they are down often - pretty minor. I still think it is a bit over-priced but would highly recommend to a friend/others able to afford it.

It was well worth it
The chair is good. The difference between 'executive' version and 'regular' version that I like is the arm support. 'executive' version has leather based arm support which feels great. Lower back support is good as well.

Well made and comfortable
This chair is extremely well made, comfortable and better than anything that you typically purchase at the big box stores.

Wrong Chair and Broken
The chair I received did not have the Polished Aluminum Base as described and the tilt mechanism did not work. It's going back. Hassle

Excellent chair. I use similar chairs everyday at work
Excellent chair. I use similar chairs everyday at work. I removed one star because the item arrived 3 days late even though it was listed as Amazon Prime at the time of the order.
