Very good but not perfect
I put this in a 2004 Toyota Matrix.I have 2 other Aukey cameras the DR01 and the DR02, needed a 3rd but those others weren't on sale at the time and this was so I gave it a shot. Camera performance is the same as DR01/DR02 except there is a rear camera too. The display on the mirror is big and clear and looks great, far easier to see than the smaller dr01/dr02 dash cams. Touchscreen controls are a little slow but good enough. the power adapter is a big clunky cigarette adapter with no additional USB outlets. So if you only have 1 you will end up giving up your car usb charger (I will probably end up wiring it directly into the fuze box so this wont matter much for me) the adapter is 5v 2500ma, so it's beefier than a typical USB charger. The mirror attaches with elastic bands that seem to work well. I routed the rear camera cables under the floor board moldings so I was able to get it all the way to the back of my hatchback without exposed wires except for the very end. There is a way to wire the rear cam to the backup lights so that when you put the car in reverse the display automatically switches to the rear camera view, I didn't have access to those wires easily so I had to skip it, so I have to hit a button on the mirror to switch it (there is a small PIP window that shows the back, that may be enough).Since all the controls are touchscreen on the mirror if you plan on changing settings often you can count on having lots of fingerprints on the mirror.Firmware has fewer options for some settings like loop segment length. But overall everything seems to be there.I also like that the clock is displayed in the mirror, even if it's 24hr format. For an older car I think this is a great camera with a very usable backup camera with a very effective display. If the car already had a factory backup camera, I would probably prefer a smaller DR01/DR02 since I believe they look cleaner. But for this old car I think it's the best choice of the 3. The biggest strength of this model is the large display with integrated backup camera. I got it on sale for quite a bit less than the $99 retail price but even for $99 it seems like a good value for the amount of features and the quality of the display.

Outstanding value and quality
This backup mirror dash cam has certainly impressed me. It's very easy to operate, unlike other dash cams I've used. The wire is long enough, I ran the wiring through the floor under the driver side carpet and attached the cable with zip ties under the vehicle to the rear. The size of the screen is larger than the normal run of the mill dashcams. This has a wide and very clear view. In my video, you can see the front camera working in both day and night. I think that I made a good deal on this purchase.

Easy to Operate
My car doesn't come with a backup mirror and I also need a dashcam so I found this online. This mirror totally meets my needs right now. Easy to assemble and use even for a girl without any technical skill of digital machines. It with really clear video, I can see the license plates clearly in front of me even in the evening. The parking mode makes me feel assured when I am not in the car. I highly recommend this dash cam for those driving girls!

Good Budget Mirror Dash Cam, Needs A Few More Tweaks...
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I purchased this Aukey DRA2 mirror dash cam to replace another brand that didn't quite work out like I intended. This Aukey mirror dash cam seemed as though it would be great.I own a 2016 Hyundai Elantra gt and I like the fact that it fits over my existing rear view mirror and that it isn't as noticeable as most dash cams.I like the fact that it came with the rear camera and all the hardware was included except a memory card, you have to provide that yourself.I was looking for a dash cam that had parking mode and motion detection, which this one has. But my issues with this dash cam is that it has a very slow touch-screen response, the rear cam is very grainy at night. With that, I can understand because the f-stop is not that great to begin with...it is f2.3.I've also noticed the mirror vibrates while driving thus making difficult to see, especially at night.I wouldn't recommend this dash cam to anyone who drives alot at night. The images/video footage isnt that clear and hard to read license plates. Also, there is no WiFi so you have to manually remove the memory card each time you want to download footage.Overall, this dash cam is a great deal for the price.

Work As Descriped
This mirror cam is dope! The touch screen operation is as easy as the description. The packaging was solid and instructions are super easy to follow. All the wires are really long. So I managed to hide all the wires, it looks nice, the rearview mirror screen is cool. The cameras and screen display are of good quality. The backup camera video quality was better than I expected. I like it!

Parking mode does not work. Video Quality is bad
The MAIN reason I got this is because it claims to have a parking mode that will start recording when your car is hit while it is parked. IT IS FALSE. DOES NOT WORK. My car was hit and run pretty hard from the back bumper and the camera did not record. I was parallel parked (street parking) in a residential area. This is a waste of money. I was luck enough to get a recording from a house in front of the hit and run that had the security camera. My car was hit about two hours after I parked on the street. The front camera can record cars... but if you want to see the licenses plate, you will need to be bumper to bumper (in traffic distance) in order to see it. A car diagonal from you in traffic would not show clear either. It is not worth the money even on sale. It's best to look at other options. It does not even do it's primary purpose to record from the front to capture licenses plate
