I've using blenders for a week .I'm sure you are doing research on what kind of blender or smoothie machine to purchase as I did. Bottom line, for the price on Amazon, I don't think you can beat the Homgeek (2L) 2000W. The large wattage motor easily cuts through frozen and raw food. But I do a lot of smoothies with some type of combination of frozen Strawberries, blueberries, pineapples, mango or bananas. I also can add spinach, it comes out absolutely smooth. You have to make sure you have enough liquid such as yogurt, orange juice, coconut mike or almond milk to allow the fruit to move properly in the blender. The settings for the blender are terrific, I just set it for smoothies and walk away since it cycles back and forth for 60 seconds before the cycle is complete. The travel cup is awesome, you simply screw off the base from the blender and screw it onto the travel mug. This blender is great so far!

I like that the spout has a lid that locks open so you can pour easily. The blades come out so that they can be cleaned easily, along with the inside of the decanter. I've compared and compared. I've asked friends and family and finally decided that I don't need my blender to heat the food that it's blending, I just need it to blend it. I also know I wanted to make smoothies, and look at that, this came with TWO smoothie cups. I also wanted a food processor and WOW! This Homgeek comes with an attachment for that as well! So between getting accessories I desired, this was the top choice for me.If you make smoothies and don't want to shell out big money, this blender is for you! For the money, it's a great deal!

This is a super powerful blender that easily gets through anything I throw at it.Since the start of lockdown we've been drinking smoothies every day which I make in my small Breville smoothie maker, but that only makes enough for one person at a time and is very underpowered so takes a while.This is a beast, with a large base to house a big and powerful motor that crushed through all of the frozen fruit I've been throwing at it.On the front is an on/off switch, a high/variable switch, a 1-7 dial for the motor speed, and four pre-set buttons for smoothies, frozen desert, crushing ice or for soup.Because I use so much frozen fruit in my smoothies, I find that the Frozen Desert preset button works best, as it pulses through the contents before blending everything on a powerful cycle.When using preset buttons, a countdown appears so that you know how long it has left.Cleaning is pretty easy because there's plenty of space to move a sponge around inside, but most of the time a powerful blast with the tap will be enough. I would imagine that if anything does get stuck to the sides, that you could simply blend some soapy water through it.Obviously this is not a cheap machine, but I think it's thoroughly worth it for the price. A smaller blender for £30 could do an OK job, but these things eventually break, and a cheap option will probably cost much more in the long run, so it's better to invest in an excellent machine like this.

My previous Philips blender stopped working after about 8 years so I began looking and comparing, wanting something that wasn't crazy expensive but would be suitable for both, smoothies as well as soups/purees etc and this one delivers on both ends.So far I've done smoothies every morning, as well as veg soup a few times and I am delighted with the results. I've even done mashed potatoes and the lowest power setting works great for this, as it keeps a little bit of consistency and doesn't make it all sticky .Washing up isn't too bad, however I haven't yet figured out if the blade is removable or not (description says it is). Regardless - I have found that a long handle brush can clean around the blades just fine. There's only two things that could maybe be improved on, if the jar would have been glass made and it could have been made to be a little bit more silent - however at the price point I have to say it is a great purchase nevertheless. Can crush ice to slush in matter of seconds, has handy preset buttons for different speed settings and doesn't need to be held onto when in use. overall good value and good item

The jug has a very high capacity and you can blend a lot in little time. Its quick and easy to clean and even has a self clean function. The device itself looks good, its build quality is to a high standard and it has a good weight and feel to it. All of the parts fit perfectly together and there are no leakages. It has functions for smoothies, soup and even crushed ice, a really nice feature if you like cocktails. It doesn't just have one speed and you can control the speed of the blend by switching to the dial mode and adjusting the speed. So far I've blended fruit, veg, ice and even rice to make flower and everything I've tried has worked with great results. I'm really pleased with this blender and look forward to using it for a long time to come. Great product.

Having a variable speed option is a good bonus. Its very easy to clean and even easier to use. The 50 recipe book is a welcome treat and having the option to add stuff in via the lid is good too. My wife loves it. We welcome the healthier lifestyle now after all the lockdowns.
