Horrible Speaker, and BlueTooth Design Flaw..
So bluetooth only works very well within 10-20 feet. After that you get cut-outs and choppiness. So if you have a pool larger than 20 feet, what happens? When the speaker floats further from BT source, it constantly cuts-out/choppiness You got to put your phone/tablet right next to pool, risk getting it wet. They need to make the water tight compartment large enough for a phone. Yes you can fit a old/small 3-4" phone or an ipod in there, but my phone doesn't fit. Even if bluetooth range wasn't a problem, the quality of the speaker is very poor. Not loud at all. I have it turned all the way up, along with my phone BT volume, and you have a hard time hearing it more than 20 feet away. The lights? Kinda cool, but pointless really. My husband has over 15 Ryobi tools, and loves them, except he said this was a huge FAIL. He wouldn't be surprised if they discontinue this product soon. Do you self a favor, buy a high quality waterproof BT speaker that can be put next to the pool and use that. We have one that cost about $60, and it is awesome. Cheaper and better than this FAIL.

Nice extra toy.. doesn't hold up to heat very well
When its running and not hot.. its great.. sound is just ok, but it is nice to have music and lights in the pool with you.. Only downside is, I live in AZ, and the sun is always warm..so.. if its floating in the pool the sun pounding on the top of it where the electronics are get it warm.. and it will degrade in performance, Volume drops and sound quality suffers. Once it cools off it is back to normal.

Very cool
Very cool speaker. Batteries and charger have to be purchased separately. That was pricey. Overall a very good product.

Ok if low volume and no splashing around speaker.
Sound was ok until speaker got wet then sound went really low. Had to wait a day for speaker to dry and sound came back. Overall not a speaker that can be in pool when others are splashing. More of a tranquil peaceful no movement water splashes. Which defeats the purpose. Battery does get hot and does not last long.

I love it
Love the quality of the product and it’s performance. Have both the 2 & 4amp batteries and they both fit. The lights are awesome and this really stands out from others, if the battery dies you just pop another one in!

battery not included
The radio is great but did have to spend an additional 100 dollars for the battery. If you already have Ryobi tools not a big deal but if not it cost a lot of extra money.
