OHTO Horizion Gel, Gel Ink Ballpoint Pen 0.5mm Green Body (NKG-605H-GL)

Fantastic paired with moleskin

This pen feels nice in the hand with good heft and weight. Came with not one but two gel ink refills, which was much appreciated. However, I'm compelled to hold back one star because the gel line appears slightly bolder than a true 0.5mm––probably closer to 0.6mm or 0.65mm to my eye. Otherwise, I would recommend this one and the other needle point OTHOs as well.

You know if I pay almost $30 for it should write! Well, this one does not! Not worth the money, so don't buy it.

This pen has a different action than the Ohto Needlepoint- not the side release but a more typical press down release. The gel ink on the other hand is darker, and allows for smoother writing... but it is more prone to smearing. Compared to most pens this is gorgeous, but it’s not as well designed as the Needlepoint model, though it looks almost the same.

It says it comes with two refills. Where are the two refills? These pens also usually come in a box. I wonder if these are authentic or if this is some sort of scam? Either way, I’d like an explanation about where the refills are, if they can’t be produced then a partial refund would be appropriate. I’m not asking to be made more than whole for the purchase. Thanks.

Looks nice but the ink… I don’t love it. Leaves stains and after a month or so it kinda dried from the inside. Wouldn’t buy again.

Disappointed. Only came with one extra refill.

Super smooth writing pen, had it for about a year and when the pen was almost out of ink, the ink leaked out a bit, possibly cuz I tend to really grip and write very firmly with any writing utensil, but overall solid purchase
