kenable 9 Pin Serial Null Modem Adapter RS232 Male Plug to Female Socket Converter

This null modem adaptor works perfectly for situations where you don't want to change gender, just DTE to or from DCE. That is it suits connecting 2 units together which are both RS-232 sources, such as 2 PCs or in my case a PC and Tektronix Oscilloscope. Worth noting is that the screws can be removed and reversed which I had to do in my situation so I could fix the adaptor to the Oscilloscope. Then I used a LFHUKEJI USB to RS232 Female cable so I could use a USB socket rather than the RS232 one. Note this cable is also DTE even though the plug is female which would normally be DCE!
