SpermCheck Fertility Sperm Count Test for Men, at Home Sperm Test, Easy to Read Results, Over 98% Accurate

I’m not sure why there’s so many bad reviews. I followed the directions as said and our results came out within the time frame and kept getting darker. We got this for a piece of mind for my husband due to his past addiction and he was afraid he was infertile. He definitely isn’t! Would highly recommend this to everyone.

The directions for this product are very specific, i.e. if you mess something up, the directions recommend you do it again. You need to wait at least 48 hours before last ejaculation to do the test. It did not explain why but I’m guessing it’s due to the number of sperm in the semen after multiple ejaculations. You need to get ALL the sperm in the cup. This needs to be done because the average volume of sperm per ejaculation is only about one teaspoonful, and that’s not a lot. There’s a little syringe you have to suck it up in and it’s aggravating because of the little amount of sperm in the cup. Our result had a test line along with the control line but it wasn’t as dark as the control line. Still, this should be considered a positive result. I believe that as long as there is a test line that shows up, the result is positive and within the average results for fertile men. I’ve always been confused about how these tests work. It’s similar to pregnancy and ovulation tests. The test line is never as dark as the control line on pregnancy tests but it’s still positive if a test line appears, so I believe it’s the same for this test. Overall, the product works if you follow directions.

It's a little pricey, but overall I'm pretty satisfied with the product (and that I seemingly passed the test). It has clear, easy-to-follow instructions, and doesn't take much time at all - 7 minutes for results, about an hour total time. Read the instructions a few times and then just start checking them off as you go. I got a head-start because the company has a copy of the instructions on their website for download, which is nice. I also found a coupon for a $10 rebate if purchased during the 2014 calendar year - I'm not sure if online/amazon purchases count (it said to include a copy of the "cash register receipt", which I obviously don't have from amazon, just a printed copy of my order/invoice), but I would hope so. If I think of it, I'll follow up if I get a rebate check in 4-6 weeks! I was a little nervous in the 2 days leading up to the test, but there was definitely an ominous two-minute wait period towards the end of the test, plus the final moment as you're putting 6 drops into the test that will determine the fate of your unborn children. Steel yourself. My line was faint, but it was definitely there. It made me wonder if somebody with superman sperm would have a super-dark line. Does anybody know if a darker Test line equates to a higher sperm count by comparison to a really faint line? Meaning in theory a dark line might be 50 million and a faint line would be the 20 million base? We haven't started trying to get pregnant yet, I was just doing this test because my brother is having issues conceiving and apparently has some issues with his swimmers and got me a little paranoid. I would definitely recommend this as a quick way to find out something, though I also would suggest you talk to your doctor and see a urologist if you're seriously concerned and need help. It's nothing to be embarrassed about - get as much info as you can so you figure it out for your family's future. Good luck!

This item DID show I have sperm, so I cannot say the item is faulty or anything. However, that's the only thing it's good for. It turns out that fertility is much more complex. This does not measure count, motility(how fast or well they move), or morphology(how many are well formed) I ended up having a semen analysis and everything came back normal to above average. It was completely covered by my insurance. Honestly, save yourself the headache and just get a semen analysis done. Again, THIS ITEM WILL NOT INDICATE IF YOU ARE INFERTILE. You can easily test positive for having sperm yet be infertile. I bought this and the YO microscope camera because I felt like I could just do everything at home. Even if you test positive, if you and your partner are having difficulty concieving you will need the semen analysis. I ended up wasting a bunch of money instead of just getting the lab test done for free.

Worked exactly as expected. I bought this product on a whim out of anxiety of having an upcoming sperm analysis at the lab. The test had simple to follow instructions with pictures. The faint line which indicated I was fertile made me feel more confident going into the actual lab. The lab results further validated the effectiveness of this test. One of my best purchases!

So, obviously, this product requires a certain bodily fluid to work. My partner and I are TTC and wanted to make sure his swimmers were good. Ya feel me? This product was pricey. We liked that we could test his swimmers at home without him having to do the thing in a cup at the doctor's office. That's just kinda weird. So, we paid for it. Unfortunately, this test did not work. No line showed up, not even the control line. We waited like 25 minutes to see if anything would happen. Nada. We were annoyed and threw it out. I contacted manufacturer's customer service. I wasn't necessarily looking for a refund. Just wanted to let them to know it was faulty and they might be making some false claims about this being accurate. They wanted us to send the product back to them?? And they also wanted a picture of the faulty test. The first request was weird AF, because uhh... We used the test as intended and that's just gross. I could understand the picture thing. However, we were both irritated at this test, the process, and it not working. I was not digging it out of the trash. We took a chance because there are other bad reviews. I'm writing so that other people know to avoid this product. You definitely are risking your money with this. It seems very hit or miss.

Nothing intrinsically wrong with this product. Pros-the test arrived on time, and the expiraiton date was more than 6 months away. It arrived in good shape. It does take a few hoops to jump through to get the test completed- for example, the test subject cannot ejaculate at a minimum 48 hours prior to taking the test- so plan accordingly and there are 4 or 5 steps involved to get the test completed. Cons- much like a cheap pregnancy or ovulation test you may run into this dilemma- "do I see the line? Is that a line? Or am I imagining it? In one light it looks like a line, but in another light, there may not actually be a line there!" My husband has poor vision, my vision is excellent. If I hadn't been there with my good eyesight, he could have thought the results were negative, the line was that faint. Now, if you go to the website, it says that if there is any line there at all, no matter how faint, the test is positive. I think we're now actually left with more anxiety because we're not sure about the results and we either need to buy another test or take a sample to the lab. For another $40ish dollars the lab gives you fully definitive results- motility, composition, the works. Probably the better choice.

Does exactly as advertised: trustworthy results. Results confirmed by specialist after home testing, but turned out to be unnecessary.

Very convenient and easy to perform test kit. The instructions are very much clear to follow and the overall process is very much uncomplicated. Value for money as it provides the results while being at home.

It does what it says in the tin, it lets you know if your little swimmers are swimming head down front crawl style like Duncan Googhew or if there doggy paddling backwards like Eric the eel! Simple to use with clear instructions, the only thing it doesn't 'come' with is something to distract the wife with whilst your concentrating on the task 'in hand' whilst trying to ensure your aim is good for the little cup that's included! Once the jobs done and you staring at the pot of essence thats going to define you as a man or burst any bubble of little Ronnie sitting on your knee and calling you daddy, the reality kicks in and what normally ends up on a tissue in the bog you treat with the reverence of some ancient antique worth millions! A little bit of my first chemistry set action is all it takes to prep your sample and start the clock, that time drags let me tell you! But all god in the end! I'm a man! Those two little lines re enforce my now peacock like strut! Jobs a good un!

My wife and I have used these type of tests in the past and they have been inconclusive and hard to read. These are very simple and easy to use and give a clear result. Definitely recommend
