Love the Polarized Ice Lenses
If you're debating lens colors like I was at first, make sure you do your homework on base tints for Oakley lenses. They make some great purpose-built lenses in my opinion, but the colors vary widely (both exterior and what your eye sees from the interior). Many, if not most, of their colored lenses these days seem to have varying degrees of contrast enhancement for different lighting conditions and activities. They don't have a ton of concise information on their site about every lens, but I found several forums where people are discussing them and their differences. This is just a word to the wise, based on my experience. I tried on a few different pairs locally and thought I had things figured out to get a blue lens similar to my old ice Juliet's, but found that the H2O deep polarized lenses actually have a contrast enhancing 'rose-colored' tint to them and not a neutral black/grey like my old Ice lenses. Again, this was before realizing that Oakley still makes ice lenses and does so for the Flak Jackets. I ordered and am very happy with the Polarized Ice lenses from Amazon, and am now just waiting on what I hope is my final frame order. And yes, as far as I can tell the current gen Polarized Ice lenses appear the same as the roughly 10 yr old Polarized Ice lenses from my Juliet's. The only minor difference I've seen is that the new lenses seem to have an ever so slightly deeper blue/purple exterior to them. This could just be due to the age/wear on my older lenses.
