good art, good story, quirky
This manga seems like it was made for me. Part geology/cultural lesson, part detective story, part slice-of-life with oddball characters. And the art is a bit of a throwback to a more 70s style (characters with actual noses!). I've read up to vol 5 so far and enjoyed it. If you want something different than other manga out there, give it a try.

Intriguing, beautiful, great
Loving this newest series from Irie Aki! The characters and the art have the charm and beauty characteristic of her works, and I'm really not sure where the plot is going (good!). The print quality is also fantastic - textured cover, color pages, and Icelandic translations for certain things, as a major setting of the story is in Iceland. Do recommend

Very Relaxing
This is a very laid back read. Essentially follows the main character and his antics around Iceland. There is some mystery to the story but this is mostly a relaxed slice of life feel. This first issue spends most of the time introducing characters and what the main characters are all about. The reason I'm in love with it is how Aki Irie portrays Iceland. I fell in love with the place after visiting it and I can tell he not only did his research but must have spent some time there. He represents it excellently and if anything you will learn quite a bit about Iceland in these pages.

Subtle and mysterious
Well I guess it is a mystery, for that matter. The story is told in a super relaxed way, in no hurry to move the exposition forward as it meanders through the daily life and relationships of the main character. Nothing's overstated, and the (beautiful) characters all seem a bit bigger than life. The artwork is breathtaking and the print quality is top notch to match it.I'd say I'm excited to read the next book but I just came here after reviewing that so I guess I'm looking forward to the 3rd.

For the mystery, moody manga readers :p
The manga was shipped quicker than expected, and came in great condition! The artwork is what caught my attention, but the storyline kept me going. It’s a bit slow-paced from the start and episodic in each chapter, but don’t give up; if you’re a fan of mystery and drama with some hints of fantasy (probably the wrong word for it) then this could be for you!
