These are super bright and detect motion well. I placed them 4 foot from the ground on my chicken coop to scare off wildlife and they work so well. They are super super bright. One did not work when they arrived and the company sent a new one right away.

I've really taken a liking to these solar-powered security lights. They are no longer these weak, bearly illuminated lights. I installed these on our perilously steep set of front stairs. The installation was OK. I didn't want to drill into the decorative stonework, so I screwed the assembly into a seem. It works well enough, especially with some epoxy putty to set the screws where the gap was too large. It comes with screws, wallboard anchors and two 3M double-sided foam tape squares. The adhesive may work on a smooth surface, but I'd do the screws as well since it will be exposed to the weather. The function button is on the front and you can choose between a few modes: 1. Off. 2. Dim at dark and bright when motion is detected. 3. Dim when dark. 4. Off when dark but bright with motion. I wanted to do the dim/bright mode, but the flags set off motion detection all the time, so I switch to the dim in dark mode. Even dim, it gives off enough light to navigate the stairs safely. The great thing about these is that they are set and forget. They will will competently do their job season to season without wifi connectivity, cables or programming. Simple and effective is a great combination.

I purchased these lights on July 15th, 2019 and installed them at our entry gate for visual guidance since we don't have street lights. I had to remove them last months due to both being non functioning and would NOT recommend these lights, since they are definitely not waterproof! A rather disappointing purchase that lasted only 3 MONTHS! Caveat Emptor

Cool set of little LED motion lights. They are pretty small but put out a decent amount of light. I use the setting where they stay on dim all night and then light up bright when they sense motion. The solar charge is plenty to get them through the night even with high traffic and lots of bright light-ups. They install easy with two screws and are essentially maintenance free. Mount them and forget about them. They put out a decent amount of light on both the dim and fully on functions. We have them lighting up a totally dark back street sidewalk (mounted on a fence) and they completely light the whole sidewalk area. The one thing I don’t like is that the function button is right on the front of the light. This means that anyone walking by can tamper with the light function or shut it off altogether. We have a security issue and have had lights broken and tampered with in the past. I’ve already had them shut off on me once. Unless you are mounting them out of arm’s length there will be the potential for tampering. I own another set from a different manufacture that has the control button on the back only accessible but removing the screws and taking down the light. This is a much better setup for me as it cant be tampered with. Some people may prefer the front button function for ease of access but for me it’s a downside. Otherwise, they’ve been up for around 3 weeks working flawlessly

This is 1 of the brightest outdoor solar light I've ever had. Especially given that it's not that big (see pic 01). It's amazing that it does last more than 8 hours at full charge. I do have it set on motion-detection mode only. Choosing the other more constant light modes may lessen its total working time. Its solar panel and its light base are at opposite sides. There's no cables or wires to connect this too. Love that I can set this anywhere outdoors. I can easily move this from a no-sun location at night to a sun-filled location during the day to get a full-charge with its solar panel. The couple holes this has on top makes this easy to hang on a wire, nail or thin tree branch. Highly recommended.

This set comes with two lights -- good value for sure. They work fine. Remember to charge them up first. This is not a fault of the unit. These batteries need to be charged, and the solar panel is not that efficient. Charge them outside for a few sunny days and it will start working consistently. The motion sensor is good. The light output is fairly good. So what is wrong with it? The mounting system: On another model that I have, it has a keyhole type mount -- meaning I can put one screw into the siding, and hook the light into it. Easy on and off. This one has two screw holes on the top -- and you really have to attach the light into the wall with screws. These lights are very light, there is no need for such involved installation. I ended up just using a small nail to hook it onto the wall.
