Impressive and well supported
It looks good and is wafer thin. The cables emerged parallel to the plane of the screen, keeping its thin profile.I had trouble programming it because what I was trying to do was a bit tricky so I emailed Waveshare Support. They sent me a customised example, and also replied with a final tip when the example failed, which sorted it.When I had pointed the Arduino IDE at .zip files to install libraries, the IDE told me there were no libraries in the archive. Even when I pointed the IDE at the example zip provided by Waveshare support, the IDE warned there were no library files it it. I don't know if it's a Mac thing or another random computer thing but the moral is always to load libraries even if your computer tells you there are none in the source. And ignore the warnings that are false. Easy!

Works well
Took a little bit of experimenting to get it up and running but once that was figured out the display works well and is a nice example of a epaper display.Would buy again.

Not working on pi zero w.
I am not sure if there is even a v3 of this screen but what i was sent looks like a v1 with a little silver v3 sticker on. The v2 screen has 2 notches one either side of the ribon cable. This looks like the V1 with only 1 notch. The image shown on the listing is the v2. If there is a v3 then maybe they reverted but i suspect iBest is selling off v1 boards stickered up as v3. Maybe not but it might be better to buy direct from waveshare who themselves dont seem to sell a v3 yet.

An iconic E-paper display for pwnagotchi
I bought this display for a pwnagotchi project and it works as great (well, as expected). Almost no ghosting and fast refresh rate. The size of the display fits perfectly on Raspberry Pi Zero W.

Do not expect a manual
I bought this as I need to add displays to many of my projects and wanted to experiment with e-paper displays. I bought this particular one on the assertion that it "comes with development resources and manual". Mine didn't come with anything and I could not find anything useful to download from the manufacturer's website. It is, therefore, useless to me at present although general web searches have come up with some examples of things to try.

Is it supposed to have preinstalled image? Mine came blank and couldn't make it to work.
