Shimarz Black Eyeliner Pencil for Women with Sensitive Eyes, Hypoallergenic, Smudgeproof Cats Eyes Results, 0.3 oz (Pack of 1)

I ordered this eyeliner in December 2015. I had not worn eye makeup in several years due to concerns about the chemicals used in many products and irritation I have felt from using them in the past. In my search for an eyeliner with more natural ingredients, I stumbled upon this one and thus far, have been happy with the results. The color is true black and it glides on easily. I run the pencil over the desired area twice to get the intensity of black I am looking for. It holds up fairly well, I've found I may experience some fading throughout the day and will have to re-apply once. However, I experience no irritation in my eyes. Considering the good price and the natural ingredients, it is well worth it to me to have to re-apply in my opinion. Not the mention, the owner of this business sent me an email to make sure I was happy with the product and it seems they really care about customer satisfaction and making things right.

It's NOT vegan!!!!!!! It has beeswax in it. Kind of misleading. ***EDIT*** when Nick read my previous review that I purchased a "cruelty free" eye liner thinking it was vegan but upon delivery the ingredient said beeswax he jumped into action. I said the description of the item was misleading since anything w/ animal products is NOT cruelty free. So not only did Nick edit the description on his website but he sent me a true vegan eyeliner product hot off the presses from their new vegan line. The eyeliner is FANTASTIC!!!!! It goes on really smoothly and stays on no smudges. I'm a fan. Thanks Nick!!!!

I was looking forward to receiving this product based on previous reviews, but was disappointed in two ways...one of them my own fault. I thought the pencil had a sharpener which it did not, but it never claimed to. I guess I just read so many of the ads that I got confused. Then, while it was relatively easy to put on, I did experience some discomfort...felt like eye fatigue. Not really burning, but I knew something was doing it. I would have blamed it on mascara as I've had the feeling in the past, but this particular day I forgot to use the mascara and it was an eye-opener (no pun intended) for me to have this tight feeling from the liner. As far as how often I had to reapply it in one day, I generally don't touch up my eye makeup unless I'm going out in the evening and it needs it; so I can't comment on that question as accurately as should be. However, what I am most concerned about is that on at least two of the five-star reviews, the reviewer stated that a sample was provided. Now I wonder if the 5 stars came as a result of the free sample rather than the effectiveness of the product. It's not a bad product, but for me it was not as outstanding as the other ladies found it.

This is a pretty good eye liner. It gets 4 stars because of its ingredients (excellent, natural, non-toxic ingredients). It would have gotten 3 stars if it didn't have such top notch ingredients because it doesn't last long and it doesn't go on very dark. I do use it daily, however. I've discovered that it is a great base under my Makeup Forever eyeliner. So, I actually put on both every day. It makes my Makeup Forever eyeliner look richer and better, and it makes it last longer, too! I am unable to wear this natural eyeliner by itself, because it comes off quickly. But, one would expect that from a product with such natural ingredients. I'm not disappointed. It was worth a shot, and it turned out to be useful as a natural base!

Im so pissed. I spent way more on this than a regular eyeliner because it was labeled for sensitive eyes.I feel like this must be some cheap dollar store eyeliner that someone slapped a sensitive eye label on with no consideration for thosw who actually really suffer from sensitive eyesI wore this eyeliner alone, no foundation, no primer, no shadow, only this product to test it out todayI also have worn zero eye make up for over a week.Now, as I write this, my eyes are all itchy, red and blurry, exactly the situation that I hoped to AVOID by buying this productShould have just gotten my regular Almay.At least that doesn't make me feel like I want to scratch my own eyeballs out!

I've been using vegan make-up for over 4 years and this eye liner is the best yet. Thanks for putting out this great product. I will definitely buy from them again. I use make-up everyday. I'm 54 yrs old. This stuff goes on very easy and stays on for most of the day ya!

I just tried it for the first time today. The pencil is a bit more solid than I'm used to but knowing there are no carcinogens in it is more important than anything. I like to smudge my liner for a smoky natural look so I like the fact that it was lighter than my previous brand was welcome.I would like to buy a grey one for my brows but they only have black...at least for now.I am very impressed with this company. Never have I received emails asking for my opinion before. I'm sure their customer relations will get them more loyal customers and help them grow. I plan to purchase mascara and other products too.Thanks for creating this brand and thanks again for the follow up!

I've tried the mascara from this company and really liked it so I decided to try the eyeliner pencil. It's soft enough to go on(I have a problem with my current pencil not being soft enough), and goes on very black. I have no eye irritation, but then I never do from eye makeup except when my mascara gets old and dried out and flakes into my eyes. Though this product works like any of the usual expensive brands I use, I like that it has natural ingredients in it, which is why I switched.I would definitely buy this again, and hope they come out with a dark brown pencil, a color I also use for every day.
