Fits great
Fit like a glove after a little bit of jostling and cutting the plastic away to fit the tabs but it just dropped right into place

Just bend the bolts out
Bolts and holes don't line up out of the box, but easy to fix. Easiest solution is to stand the bar on end and bend the bolts out with a hammer. Took 30 mins to install.

Chipped black powder coat and loop bends not symmetrical :(
I received this in a few days. Took it out of the box and thought this will look great on my 1992 Miata. I removed the seat belt guides, stabilizer bar and set it on the towers to confirm the appearance. This is where things went wrong... In looking from the front with the bar aligned the 2 loops did not sit evenly behind the seats. The passenger seat was ~3/4 of an inch off center to the right compared to the Drivers seat. For the price, I would have been okay if the piece wasn't perfect. Although this is a cosmetic add on.. The final deal breaker for returning this item was a chip in the powder coating, I noticed while checking the looks before mounting. If it can't survive the trip to my house without chipping, how will it last on my car?To be fair, I am a bit of a stickler for symmetry. If the loops were not dead center of the seats... Okay as long as they match on both sides. Many people may not notice, but it"s a thing with me. But the verbose advertising of the robust power coating process and the chipped bar was a bridge too far for me ;(

Its not bad to install just got to think a little bit
Buy it. Its not bad to install just got to think a little bit. Don't listen to the people that call it a "style bar". It's a chunk of metal and I'd much rather have it protecting me than nothing. And it looks pretty good.

Crappy engineering at best
Poorly manufacturedRequires major modifications to fit.For early model gen 1 NA.Don’t expect it to fit in the 1999-2004 NB without losing your mind and in many cases the rear wind deflecter and in the case of a 2004 the rear speakers...Crappy engineering at best.
