Eastwood Benchtop Blast Media Bead Blast Knock Down Cabinet Gun with Replaceable Tips

Cabinet went together easily enough. Took a rather long time but easy enough.Doesn’t leak as some have reported.2 suggestions for assembly though. Attach the gloves to the front before installing the front. There is not much room to get the clamps on with the cabinet assembled.It’s almost impossible to get the vacuum elbow into the grommet on the back of the cabinet. Remove the plate that is over the inside of the mounting hole & push the elbow through. Replace the plate.As others have said, this cabinet doesn’t work well with soda. It’s not designed to. Stick to glass beads (not crushed glass) or other reusable media & it works fine.

Seems like a well made cabinet. Main issue is the window is very scuffed and scratched. I noticed this after assembly so I don't want to go thru the disassembly, repackage and return process. I'll try to figure out how to replace the window.I'll also contact Eastwood to see if they will make this right before I kick into MacGyver mode.- Update - Upon closer inspection I discovered there is a protective plastic film on the outside of the window. Once removed the window is 100% clear. Nice! Bumping rating to 4 stars because that light is kinda weak. This will be an easy upgrade.

Bought this blast cabinet for hobby level powder coat prep. It has worked out great for me so far. Assembly is very straightforward and with all the provided seals and a couple areas of silicone sealant, I haven’t had any powder blow by to the outside of the cabinet. For the small projects I do which is typically small motorcycle parts, this cabinet works great!

This cabinet assembled easily. I use it with a shop vac to keep the dust clear inside the cabinet. I haven’t had any issues with media or dust leaking out at the seams.

Nice sandblasting box ! Took time to assemble, but all parts included.The top plexiglass was scratched.Contacted vendor about getting a replacement top lid plexiglass, but not resolved after several emails.Went back and forth with Customer Service asking for replacement lid or credit due to scratched plexiglass lid. No further response. DISAPPOINTED!If you ever buy this make sure the lid is not scratched before assemble. It was not properly protected in shipment.

Convenient and easy to use

It's a tool of which there are industrial versions available (not cheap), so for the one-off or very small quantity home shop it's probably fine. Much assembly required, and the final product is still cheap and asian made. It will probably have minor leaks.
