Adapter for the projectors and monitors
My Samsung 7 ultra works perfectly with this adapter. reliable and no issues after 7 months of usage. used on several monitors and projectors. not really high tech, it does the trick. slightly to expensive...

as expected
Arrived on time and worked ad described. Just disappointed with cost for an adapter. Those that are looking at cheaper versions don't get them as Samsung is using a proprietary connector and then don't work with this laptop.

Dongle for projection works for Samsung Series 9 Ultrabook
This small and light gadget works seamlessly. It plugs into the Micro HDMI port on the right side of the Samsung Series 9 Ultrabook (right next to the audio out jack--the port toward the user from the jack, not on the side of the screen). The other end plugs into the SVGA cable from the projector. Looks like the picture.

Works
Works as described. But shipped a used product, not new.

Overpriced proprietary connector. That would be acceptable if it was quality. Or if it at least was warranted. But, mine broke (the plastic just disintegrated and it fell apart) after 6 weeks. Samsung would NOT honor the 12 month warranty because "Amazon is not a suported retailer" or some such nonsense. Thankfully Amazon gave me a full refund even though it was outside their 30 day return policy. But, be warned if you are not buying this through samsung's website. They will NOT honor the warranty

Works well - just wish it came with the original computer
Thank goodness you can purchase this through Amazon. It would have been helpful if it came with the original computer though. Tried to get through local 're-sellers' but they didn't stock it so had to go off-shore.Again, shipping time was one week which was no big deal and cost was cheaper than if I had been able to buy locally. Thanks Amazon!

Great for Ativ Book 9
For the adapter itself and how it works with my Ativ book 9 I have no complaints with function. It's plug and play, works perfectly with TVs and projectors, and already paid for itself at work. I only have two issues with the item itself. (1) The connector isn't centered and on my 900X which means that the bulkier side is almost in contact with the desk (imagine an AC adapter where it's hanging below the plug). Although it doesn't touch I'm afraid that on an uneven surface I might accidentally rest the PC on the adapter and break it. (2) My second complaint is price. Although I know that it just can't be had for less, I'm quite frustrated that not only was this not included with the PC but also that it's extremely difficult to find the part and be sure what PCs it's compatible with. Since "Ativ Book 9" actually refers to a range of PCs, I was nervous that I wouldn't get the right part. In any event, it works, and it's a lifesaver when you're stuck hooking up your laptop to a VGA-only projector.

Overpriced
I have a Series 5 notebook, which also has an HDMI port, but after bad luck with a few HDMI-to-VGA adapters, I decided to just buy the Samsung product. The only reason why I didn't at first was price - the HDMI adapters cost $10-$15, while this is $40.It does the job, but I still think it's overpriced.
