Great fit for full size M&P9/M&P40 mags
I purchased this pouch to hold two factory S&W M&P9 17 round double stack magazines. They fit perfectly. They also fit the 15 round factory mags for the M&P40. In both cases, there is plenty of Velcro contact to securely hold the mags in place. I also love the options for mounting vertically to MOLLE, or horizontally or vertically to my gun belt. 5 stars for fit, construction and mounting options. One application note - I also have an M&P9 Compact with which I use 17 round M&P magazines with XGrip extenders to take up the gap between the bottom of the pistol grip and the bottom of the magazine. The XGrip extenders add to the circumference of the magazine where they mount. This makes the magazine too big around to fit into all the way down into the UTG pouch. This is not a flaw in the pouch in any way. The XGrips are just too big to fit inside the pouch opening. The mag with XGrip stops about 1-1/2" short of fully inserting. You can still fold the pouch's top flap over to secure the mag w/XGrip, but there is not much overlap on the Velcro. If you intend to use XGrips, you may want to consider a kydex mag holder that is completely open on the top and uses friction to hold the mag in place.

Big and bulky.
First, it is very well built. Seems to be made of sturdy material. I liked that it allowed you to carry your mags horizontally, being a bigger guy. It helps with comfort of not having a mag shoved into your love handles. The Velcro strap will hold up to two double stack 17 rd. 9mm mags securely. And probably double that of single stack mags. However, this is not for concealed carry. It is big and bulky. It is not that easy to grab a magazine out of this pouch if under pressure. If your going to the range and want to have a few loaded mags on you, then it will work just fine. If your looking for concealed carry options then I would try something else.

UTG dual pistol mag pouch
When first opening and right out of the package it seemed very durable. Which it is. It's made in China though. But the thick PVC doesn't feel chincy at all. Feels rugged. Holds both of my 9mm 17rd mags perfectly. The issue I'm having and why this to me is only 3 star worthy is because of how it attached to my person. It has these 2 metal clips that slide up and down to lock into place. It was very and I mean very strenuous to get this pouch attached to myself but once I did get it on my belt I went into my woods and ran around, jumping over downed trees and stuff to see how it felt. Held up nicely. So if you need something that you can attach and go in one min or less this isn't for you. If you do have the time it is pretty rugged. Velcro to secure the mag's holds up very well and it also comes with 2 inch horizontal Velcro straps I'm guessing to attach to a bag. All in all if it had a better system to attach it to myself without fidgeting with the clip style they have, I would've rated 5 stars hands down.

Just way to big for concealing.
These are HUGE! I got them for 1911 mags but I think I can squeeze in four total -- two in each pouch. They will easily fit double stacked 45ACP mags. The image shows them in use, and when they are empty they look deflated. I got the primarily to carry two magazines at a time. I presently carry one in a single leather pouch. I dunno about this cloth one. It'll be fine on the range or for travel but not really for daily wear in civvies. If you are looking for a concealed carry solution, I'd suggest that you keep looking unless you carry a 45ACP double stacked 13 round mag.I bought this because the back side has straps as well as metal web belt keepers (not MOLLE but what we had in the Army in the 80s). I removed the metal clips and can wear the pouch sideways with the opening to the front. But now it looks like I am carrying a Hooter's change purse or something. Fine if you are wearing a sweater or coat to cover it. or if you are n a uniform. But not for civilian wear without looking like strange.

Happy Buyer, Not End User though.
I bought this product, along with the other two items "Frequently bought together" as suggested by Amazon:Price For All Three: $29.73* This item: UTG Dual Pistol Mag Pouch, Velcro Close by UTG $6.50* UTG Adjustable Leg Holster for Pistol, Black by UTG $16.14* UTG Heavy Duty Web Belt - Black by UTG $7.09-----I am not a gun-enthusiast, but my brother is, and while looking for a holster that he had asked for, I came across the three-pack deal. I do not believe prime-shipping was offered with all of the products, so they were ordered separately, but I was still happy with the outcome. I obviously have not personally used any of the ordered items, but upon receiving them and looking them over, I am very satisfied with the apparent quality and value for the price. My brother was overjoyed with them as well and to the best of my knowledge, they fit all of his gun-needs and he would recommend them to anyone else.

... protruding at the top of the pouch make it easy to snatch them out
Holds my sub compact 9mm Beretta and sub compact 9mm Springfield mags 4 1/4 inches in length OK and with the bottoms just protruding at the top of the pouch make it easy to snatch them out. The bottoms of the mags hold the mags above the top openings. The mags fit loosely in the pouch and the velcro straps are necessary to keep them from bouncing out if you are running; while walking, they probably wouldn't bounce out. My other full size 9mm 15-18 round Beretta and Springfield mags 5 inches in length fit deeper in the pouch with the bottoms just protruding at the top of the pouch. The velcro straps are long enough to accommodate even longer mag lengths. The clips take some getting used to but I use the belt loops instead. Glad I bought 2.

Quality product!!
These (I ordered more than one) are very good quality, affordable holsters. They showed up faster than what Amazon quoted, and are exactly as explained. They fit all of my magazines, without any trouble. They are a quality material that look like they will last me a lifetime.

Good little pickup
Simple, basic, cheap but very functional. I like these for what they are - simple mag holders at a great price. My only complaint is that they are Alice and not Molle. Have a few and would recommend.

Great look
This worked great for my Halloween costume and seems pretty durable for other uses as well.

Basic Mag Holder
What can I say?Solid stitching and construction over all.I would rather MOLLE style attachment than the ALICE clip style it has, but that is not a big deal. Each side easily holds my 8rd Colt 1911 mags (one per side), but I doubt they would hold something much bigger (say Glock 23) without stretching, ill fit, or such. All in all, not bad at all (especially at the price of $8.00).
