Great basic regulator. I needed something last minute because my usual reg needed service but the shop couldn't get the kit in time so I got this one overnight. I am really happy with it. It breaths well and held its own with my wife's performance reg.

Not a balanced regulator and does not have a balance adjuster. But flows really well and is very light. For the money it is hard to beat. If you plan to dive a lot, or dive deep, think about getting a fully balanced regulator. For comfort I also highly recommend a swivel for the 2nd stage (which this regulator does not have). But, if money is tight, or if you are just looking to dive every now and then, or you are looking for your starter regulator... This really is a great little regulator! :)

Bought this as a plan B in case something went wrong with my Scubapro reg… we’ll it finally happened and this setup saved my whole dive trip. It’s simple and doesn’t breathe as easily as the more premium regulators on the market but it’s certainly better than tired, worn out rental gear. Highly recommend to new divers on a budget. I didn’t enjoy using this past 60 feet on a wreck dive but anything less than that and this setup works just fine. So if you’re a new diver working with a budget or an experienced one wanting an emergency backup on trips then this is a winner.
