Nespresso OriginalLine: Dharkan Coffee,1 Package (10 Capsules)- ''NOT compatible with Vertuoline''

I made an unintentional ristretto (short shot) by selecting the smallest cup size on a new machine at work and it was an unforgettable experience. It was far superior to anything I've had out of my superautomatic esspresso machine at home. I worked at Starbucks for 5 years back in the days of handcrafted espresso (still waiting on a Reserve Bar to come to my town) and have been addicted to coffee ever since. I think it may help to explain my background with coffee because It speaks to how impressed I was with this Nespresso product. Still, I do not consider myself a coffee snob. I'll buy the cheapest whole bean I can find to get me through a month at home sometimes (less than $0.08 per shot). Yes, it came from an Amazon partner very quickly and without complication. The flavor, though, is the star here. I could drink this without sugar or cream. It was smooth and rich. The higher darkness of Nespresso Kazaar comes with a dark chocolate kind of bitter that, while nice, was not present in the Dharkan helping me to like it much more. I'm considering a Nespresso machine for home if my home espresso machine breaks or I win the lottery. In the meantime, I'll settle for expensive work coffee ($1 per shot at the price I paid). I recently read an opinion piece that said you should settle for crappy coffee more often so you can still be pleasantly surprised with quality. If you subscribe to this theory you might want to avoid Dharkan.

While we like the flavored pods (chocolate/vanilla/caramel), this is by far our favorite "straight espresso/coffee" flavored pod. It's rich and well-rounded and makes a fantastic latte. Not a hint of burnt beans anywhere in the flavor profile, and it infallibly produces a gorgeous crema. I make an effort to keep this one in stock all the time!

Speed of shipping a big plus. Price at the Nespresso site is cheaper though so if not in a hurry and if one is able to buy 50 capsules at a time, the Nespresso site is more reasonable. But if one only needs ones leave then this vendor is fast, efficient and provides a fresh product. Convenience for a price, but sometimes convenience is needed. Coffee itself is deep intense delicious espresso.

One of my favorite flavors (though that is subjective). Delicious texture and flavor with a body and presence that pairs exceptionally with lattes.

Everything is use able but the nespresso box was opened and there was some pods a little dented up.

This is my favorite. I Try all the roasts, but this is dark and heavy...the way I like it.

Always great! and nice to be able to order it thorugh prime because it always seems to be the case where we run completley out of pods ebfore notivcing.
