Yes it is. I have pfSense installed and it works fine. The device comes completely blank, so just follow the instructions on the pfSense website for installing to a blank server.

The listing mentions that the unit can be supplied with optional coreboot firmware, but there is no option to select. Which is supplied?

coreboot is only available pre-installed on units purchased from the Protectli website. If you would like to install coreboot on a unit purchased from Amazon, please check the Protectli knowledgebase for our 'flashli' utility.

will it work with sofos home xg?

Yes! We have specifically testing Sophos Home and found it to be compatible with the Vault. Please check our KB article on the Protectli website (just search for sophos).

Hi does this work with orbi mesh?

Orbi Mesh or any type of wifi system can work alongside a Vault running firewall software. The wifi system should be put into a "wifi only" mode and simply plugged into one of the LAN ports.
