how do i know when this product expire? I have one and it says on the description elaboration date 03/11/13. If you can help me would be great. Thanks

I have used this product for over 30 years. Some cans are 8 to 10 years old & the contents are as good as the day I bought them.Great Product.

What is the proper primer for this product?

This is a coating for bare metal. I wouldn't use it over the top of a primer.

Need to recoat an old fashioned televison tower, about 20 feet high. Would I need one can or two?

I would go with 2 cans if it were me. 20' high and whatever the diameter of the tower will eat up 1 can pretty quickly. The other factor is how heavy or how light you apply this.. Obviously heavier will use more product.

how well does this coating stand up to high heat ? maybe 1200 degrees

I used it on tailpipes. They get hot. My can says 350 degrees F continuous and 750 degrees F intermittent dry heat. Holding up on my tailpipes.
